This game. This damned game. This was the only game that would actually make me mad enough to slam down my Game Boy D: Ugh I felt anxious just watching the gameplay. Super fun, but so frustrating at times.
Growing up in the late 90's one would remember owning a Gameboy Color and a Pokemon Pinball game, and playing that game on hours on end. It was one of the most coolest games to have and play in a nice quiet corner with the lights off and your light connector adapter connected to the game console.
I was the happiest kid in the world when I got a Gameboy Color and this great game for my birthday. I used to spend hours with it! Aww, nostalgia. The old good days that will never come back.
This game used to make me so angry. I could never do the Map Move, so I always just ended up catching the same Pokemon in the same spots over and over.
- I melted my first GBC playing this 10 hours each day. - I was lost for words with this game at times, so I had my older brother teach me some new swears to better describe my experience, at times.
The very 1st Pokémon game I’ve played. It felt good to reminisce through the gameplay of this. Thank you for the upload and good stuff on the Hi Scores!
Loved this game since I was 9, despite being pretty bad at it. But this year I finally managed to get on the leader board! I’m 23 btw lol. It’s always had the best music too. So many tracks are so so pleasant to listen to.
As someone who played this as a kid and is now 28, I highly recommend playing it on an emulator with infinite ball cheats. Im trying to complete the pokedex once and for all. So far i have 92, only 58 left. And ive been playing for hours. Very fun. And yes still very frustrating
+Batabii Grammar Nazi, ahoy! But in all seriousness, I implied the spelling as such. My friends do it all the time... as do a possible 1/10th (or greater) of the UA-cam populace. Betch, however, has its place in Urban Dictionary .
I owned an Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, and I never owned a Pokemon Pinball game yet. In it, the ball is a Poké Ball, and most of the objects on the table are Pokémon-related. Like any pinball game, the main objective is to get points, using the different modes of advances to score them at a higher rate. Pokémon Pinball has a secondary objective hinted at by the tagline "Gotta Catch 'em All," which is to collect all 151 Pokémon to fill your Pokédex. The Pokédex is saved between individual games, so it can be built up over time. Pokemon Pinball is a Game Boy Color game that is backward compatible with the original Game Boy and Game Boy Pocket.
I just got Sucked Punched straight in the childhood. This is one of the three games that defined my first gaming year, along with Tetris and Wario Land.
This game feels like it's in slower motion here. I feel like I'm better at getting the on table bonuses (CAVE/Field) but you're better at not losing balls. This game was too hard for me to get all 150 pokemon, but now I'm only 7 short. If only you could choose the city/location instead of having to randomly change a few times.
Pretty cool that this game had a slot for a battery to get that rumble feature back in the day. Brings memories back all over again with this wonderful game.
This was the only game I ever used the GB printer with. You were able to print out your high scores if you had a printer, and I'm not sure but I also think you could print out pics of the Pokemon you captured as well.
Dangerous game. You could play this shit forever.
Got stuck in a bathroom for 2 hours playing this 😂😂
Emulator helps alot
These scores make my 12 year old self feel like shit.
AMEN!!
Mine too. I had only seen one of the bonus levels. 😂
oh man the nostalgia is real, i remember this game kicking my ass when i was on long car rides to places.
metalman20 dem feels....
That Pika is Bass boosted before Bass boosting even existed

It kinda was in Pokémon: yellow
Earrape in a nutshell!
LordBaconBHT *_oh my jesus how did i find you here_*
They wanted you to feel that Pika

Omg indeed... this game was so frustrating I remember it when I was 13, couldn't complete the damn pokedex 😂😂I might try again 16 years later
That was smb 2 for me. Broke my gba
I have mine still. And once I saw the Digletts. I went >:(
I'm 32 and I still haven't filled my Pokedex. F u Mewtwo. XD
So…many…Missed opportunities in this damned game. Good times

Oh man... I feel so old now. I remember being a kid and playing this on my gameboy color/pocket. Haha, how time flies by.
1999 wasn’t even that long ago.
@@foreversolvent5334 Nearly a quarter of a century, people that were born when this game came out are finishing college now.
Omg this game dude. Used to piss me off so bad
THIS WAS MY GAME. I used to just listen to all the music over and over

Spanish Patriot enjoy your childhood while you can. cuz I'm 11 and my mom is ruining it
Misty the Crapposting Furry I am 23 now. My childhood ended long ago. :(
Spanish Patriot *awkward pet*
How old where you when you got the gameboy?
You can get a gba emulator and download it for free.
This was my very 1st Pokemon game I've ever played! Nostalgia time!
This game used to make me so angry. I could never do the Map Move, so I always just ended up catching the same Pokemon in the same spots over and over.

Bruh, that switch to pallet town brought back my childhood anxiety 😂 I nearly threw my phone on the floor.

PIIIIIIIKAAAAAAA
Pikachu *-*
That's what I loved to see when Pikachu gets SQUISHED by a Pokeball all the time to bring it back up.
It's just not the same without the loud buzzing sound that accompanied the vibration effect,
**Pixelated Electrocution Noises*

Checking this out because someone selling on FB market for cheap, and just nodding along to these banger songs. Wow, what a cool game!
I ordered a JP copy last week and it's so much fun. Don't know how I missed out on this gem when I was younger but it feels truly underrated
Was ADDICTED to this back in 2003!!!
This and Pocket Bomberman!
Used to play this for hours with the OG battery in the game! Still some of the best VGM and FX eveeeeer!
This is one of the first games I owned on a GameBoy Color. I loved it!

Save states as well! Then you never have to fail an objective.

I found my old cartridge, and its súper addictive!! What a great game!!
PIIIIIKKKAAAAAA!!!!!!!!.. I'm deaf.
Even worse on a gameboy lmfao
more like im dead XD
That's the best part imo, so cute.
34:27 - I have never seen anyone that lucky before.
Nicely played! I watched it all :)
He did it twice so far where I'm at
At 1:07:50
That was pretty insane haha
I've always loved to see Pikachu get SQUISHED by a Pokeball. But that was the only way to get the Pokeball back up.
I remember Red's table being a betch! Blue was easier by FAR.
+Batabii Grammar Nazi, ahoy! But in all seriousness, I implied the spelling as such. My friends do it all the time... as do a possible 1/10th (or greater) of the UA-cam populace.

*****
True. But thank god I don't refer to it much.
Blue was easier but Red was my go to
AG Kaiju
Blue was my favorite. Red gave me constant anxiety.
Quite possibly the the most rage inducing game to ever be released on the Game Boy Color. Good times.
Literally jamming to the music for the entirety of this video. I can't sit still.
Lol this game just made me nostalgic...I always used to favor the blue table cause it was more easier to play !
If you've played this when you were a kid, it's time for your prostate exam
Doctor diagnosed me with ligma 😢
Despite having the normal pokemon games, I definitely played this even more. I need to find a handheld so I can play this again on an emulator
Please tell me I'm not the only one who would basically play "Who's That Pokemon?" with the game's silhouettes
FairFairFair FAIR What you said. Also...
He's a Pinball Wizard
There has to be a twist
The Pinball Wizard's got
Such a supple wrist...

my heart is racing so fast watching this
Eventually learning how to tilt effectively made me feel like such a pro. Still would burn me but so worth it
I never knew how to tilt. I still don’t. Lol
I remember playing this in my youth.
Dang! You’re a beast at the game. I never got that far when I played the game
This was the first video game i ever played back in like 2002 when i was like 4 or 5 ahhhh the memory's
40:16 when I ask my gf how was it
1:28-3:27
It took you two minutes to catch the Magikarp...
I completed the pokedex in this.

How are you so good at this?!
Never made it to dugTrio this game had me by the balls as a kid
I just got Sucked Punched straight in the childhood.
This is one of the three games that defined my first gaming year, along with Tetris and Wario Land.
Haunter's face of pure disgust that it was hit. Lol.
1:07 That part was the highlight of my childhood.
MEMORIES
Good mermories
I cannot play this game. Love it to death but I cannot play it. My blood pressure goes through the roof.
For whatever reason, I always find myself far more interested in the Pokémon spin-offs than I am in the mainstream games.
Funny how Catch Em Mode music in the Blue version is the first Japanese theme to the anime.
epic player and epic game
Played this as much as the real Pokemon games, honestly. I'll be so excited if they add this to NSO
The Pikachu cry is so loud xd
I don’t know WHY, but I got rid of all my game boy games. EXCEPT this one. I have the game boy colour and this game. Blessed
This was my favorite one when I was a kid
I'm only here because Luna Bloom ASMR mentioned this
Holy jesus, 2:03:00 that seel bonus performance is beyond impressive :O
cool pro moves SCHLAUGHI
I still have this
Cool me to
That sound of "PIIIIIIKAAAAAAA!!!" is very distorted to 8-bit because the GBC as well as the GB, the GB Pocket, and the GB Light are 8-bit.
I had this game when I was 7. I basically mashed the buttons everytime the ball came hoping something would happen.
1:51:14 Trivia
This is the 8-bit version of the Japanese First Opening of Pokemon Anime
this game was super frustrating when I was a kid but I also loved it
seeing this on a phone is so close to a gameboy
World of Longplays, You are a Pokemon Pinball Master
this takes me back
3:50 4:05 Voice data on a Gameboy Color?? Nice!!
Oh man, you dont know how awesome it is to have this. BEST BACKGROUND NOISE EVER!
hello fellow adults. these sounds make me feel so nostalgic.
Love this game.
I had all 150 or 151 back in 1999. Those are probably the same numbers of times I got yelled at for flipping out on my Game Boy Color
This game is so good!
Remember you had to put the aa battery in the cartridge for vibration.
So many butt clenching moments in the first 35 min. This is some good nostalgia

Did you accomplish the task yet?
at 1:29 made me remember who's that pokemon the middle of every episode of the anime.
Funny enough, the song of the blue table is a remix of the Ecruteak City from the Johto (Gold and Silver) series.
This was my first ever GameBoy Color game.
God the way you wait for the slot machine to run..... omg i pressed that button as soon as possible to end the animation.
this game was baller, with the battery rumble pack on a GAME boy
i wish we'd get a new pokemon pinball game.
Son of a....you caught a damn mewtwo! And evolved a charizard! BAH
This game was okay. I wish there was some sort of story mode and end credits!
I spent so much time playing this as a kid, and it was so hard for me, ugh.
This was my first ever game boy color game and used to annoy me so much I bit my game boy
Some came here for nostalgia
Others came here for interest
But me? Sintax brought me here.
Pretty cool that this game had a slot for a battery to get that rumble feature back in the day. Brings memories back all over again with this wonderful game.
Sameeee
i love this game 20 years old but amazing
The real Pokémon game missing from the NSO
I probably have more hours in this game than anything in my steam library
First Game ive EVER played.
Played this with the sound off and could still hear that pika
My very first game in GBC! It even had a small battery for vibration!
Nostalgia
my childhood in 1 video
This was the only game I ever used the GB printer with.
You were able to print out your high scores if you had a printer, and I'm not sure but I also think you could print out pics of the Pokemon you captured as well.
I imagine you could. It's been a part of the GameBoy games since the beginning
