- In this video, we will see how to install Elementor template kit using free plugins. We will use Elementor Envato template kit import and installation to create full Wordpress website. We will also fix the errors they you get while installing elementor template kit without Elementor pro plugin. So we will not be using Elementor Pro plugin to install template kits. Many template kits require pro plugin to get it imported. So some times you will see error using template kit. So if you are not able to import the entire template kit then you can do it manually one by one. This video will show you how to install elementor template kit in WordPress.

Great video ! When making a website for a client, do you need to create a new wordpress account and add plug-ins for all new clients ? And if so, do they need to pay the monthly subscription to wordpress and the plugins, or is it possible to make one-time payment and then use the website.
First thing, wordpress is a free tool. For each site, you need to have hosting server. Hosting service provider will give you free WordPress. You can host many websites on single hosting. It depends on hosting plan. So you need to pay hosting fees each month. Some plugins are free, some are paid. It depends on which plugin you use for each website.

yes, you can. Otherwise who will need thousands of templates or themes for personal use every month? You can not just download and sell them to other web design companies. You can create websites using these templates and themes.
@@ParamFreelance Got it - that makes sense. So, we can download them, import on any site and make changes but certainly not sell the stand-alone template-kit to someone as a product.

yes, elementor pro is required for theme builder. using theme builder, you can create template for 404.

How about the woocommerce pages, how do you get them to match the styling of your kit template?
For that you can use Elementor Theme builder feature in Elementor Pro. The basic plugin does not have theme builder.

install the zip file. do not unzip the template kit file. If zip file does not work then unzip and import one by one.

Thank you for the tutorial. However, when I create new (About us) page, the Header is missing. Only Footer is showing up. How to fix it?
Have you used Elementor pro to create header or any other plugin to create the header section? Check the condition set to header section. Must be set to Entire website to show on all pages. Page template must be Elementor Full Width.

One thing, I have elementor pro installed and it still didn't show up. But if I go to saved templates I can see all of the templates I uploaded there and then choose edit with elementor.
If you have Elementor Pro installed then you can use Elementor theme builder feature to design header, footer, page, post layouts etc. You can Go to Template - Theme Builder- Select Header - Add New Header - Select the header template from Template kit. Sorry, I got an issue: I can't download the pages template including in this zip file of the theme, they have a php extension, instead of a json file like in your video, so I can't select them. How can I manage it. Because, after downloading the theme, I only have the haeder and the footer, not the rest of the website. Thank you.
first of all, this is for Template Kit and Not Theme. If you are using theme then it is not going to work. Installing theme is a different process.

You can download the template kit and save it on your computer. You can manually upload the template using Kit Library. It depends on which template kit. Read the description of the kit and see what are the requirements of the kit. Some kits do require Elementor pro.

Go to elementor templates, there you will see list of templates. Delete required templates from there. If you have elementor pro, use theme builder to create header and footer for entire website

The reason why it didnt show the imported .zip is because it is failing to locate the templates folder . what you need to do is zip the templates folder only, then import it as is ... that is guaranteed towork .. it will import all the json files

How to install a template kit without it changing the settings globally? When I install a new template kit, it changes my entire homepage. Is it necessary to install global kit styles if I only want one section of the template? Thanks
you can install the page template individually. Open the template kit zip file. You will see different template file, such as home, about, header, footer, contact. You can import single required template file without global settings. for example, if you want template for Home page, you can import only home page template file from the opened zip folder.
@@ParamFreelance Thank you. The json file. But, the general specifications of that file appear empty when i import it directly. Like backgrounds, color scheme, sections size, etc need a manual arrange, yes? There is any way to import together these arranges with this json file?
here is what you can try. You can go to Elementor settings. Uncheck the boxes - Disable Default Colors and Disable Default Fonts. save the settings. this will stop using the font and color settings from template kit.

When i am uploading header and footer its showing error but when uploading any other page not showing error, what should I do?
check the requirements of the templatekit. I think it might require elementor Pro plugin. Lets unzip the template kit file. You will see header file inside. Now try to create header using header builder plugin and import the header file while creating header.
The custom header & footer not integrating to the pages i created.
Even i set the pages to "elementor full width" while creating , And mark to elementor canvas on custom header and footer and intergrated the header and footer of envato kits ...but these all not showing within the pages

How do I remove the template I just selected? I want to return to the previous state the site was in prior to activating the new template kit.
If you have imported template manually then you can delete them manually. Go to templates. You will see the imported templates under different tabs. Select all of them and delete. when you import new, follow the same process to import the new templates.
@@ParamFreelance I didn't import. I started by going to Kits then selected the kit and chose options of what to include then pressed Activate or Insert. So when I go to saved templates or templates nothing is there. But it is definitely installed as fonts and look and everything have changed
Try this. Go to Elementor - Settings - uncheck the 2 boxes, Disable Default Colors & Disable Default Fonts. Save the changes and clear the cache. See if this works.

it is not going to create pages. It is going to create templates that you can use on pages and header, footer section. Go to page. add new page. and then select the template that you want to use for the page. If you are not seeing edit with elementor then you need to check elementor settings. @@SebastianPerezJ some template kits are designed for Elementor pro. Have you tried installing the Header and footer builder plugin? Install that plugin and create header manually using the plugin. Unzip the template kit file. You will see header file inside. Manually import that template while creating the header.
