In this DIY I will share 4 easy Shibori tie-dye techniques which create superb results. Every time you unravel your folded, binded technique you are rewarded with an exciting design! I used dark brown Rit dye just for a change from Indigo. If you are new to Shibori this is a traditional Japanese resist dyeing technique which creates beautiful patterns on your fabric.

Hello I'm Sally an art and textiles teacher who set up my small teaching business @didsburyartstudio after leaving my full-time teaching job here in the UK. Fabulous! Can I assume that if the twine was applied in more parallel wraps, the stipes would be straigher?
