Went for a solo trout fishing adventure up to Bear Creek, I managed to land a total of 9 trout. I arrived late so I only had about 2 hours of daylight to fish the creek.

@@egld2020 I Highly agree! Bear Creek is a nice long stream, you gotta definitely spend some time on google maps to get in there. Not to mention a 4x4 🤘🏽

It's hard to beat a day trout fishing in a stream, when you can turn over logs in a muddy area for worms , or rocks in the stream for hilgarmite larva that trout love to eat. Nice video Ty for sharing.
@@egld2020 For natives I like to use Nymphs but I also use a brown trout rooster tail. If I’m fishing natives I cut two of the hooks and pinch the barb. This rooster tail also works for stock rainbows…
@@outdoorsroyalty thanks for the tip!!! I also improvised at my creek cut off the 2 extra hooks but never knew you could pinch the barb, I’m a beginner fisher 🙏🏻 but I try my best all the time to use barbless 🤟🏻 if I’m not using rooster tails
Cant wait for the closure to be lifted 🙏
@@ianalderson5133 I’m not aware of any closure of that area, if I’m not mistaken that was few months back.

@@eddiespaghets7663 it sure does!
Not at all. Its a coastal rainbow trout. They don't hybridize with browns due to differing genetics and differing spawning seasons.
