Sanctions are usually a good part of soft pressure, but forcing more isolation on a nation that already isolates itself will only exacerbate the existing issues.
I don't wanna turn a football comment section into a political shitshow but I struggle to figure when sanctions are a good thing. It's a case of rich and powerful countries using their power and wealth to economically suppress smaller countries in a way that invariably harms the average people more than anyone. The only arguments I could see are that in some cases you could argue it harms the leadership as much if not more than the average people (that's just theoretical though) and in some cases the people themselves might want them to put pressure on a government they genuinely want removed. I mean, here in North Korea we have at least two really good examples. A lot of people make extremely crude jokes about the North Koreans having no food, ignoring that a major cause of the famine in the 90s was the Soviet Union being in a state of dissolution and neoliberalisation, and international sanctions. I'm not necessarily here to defend the North Korean government, but if you believe the people are unfairly imprisoned and oppressed by their government, why should they be punished with a famine that killed possibly millions of mostly ordinary people? And then you have the topic of the video himself, which, I don't need to reiterate.
@@man4437 It's true that often sanctions are misused and a reason for suffering (see Cuba for example - a lot of good is happening there, but US sanctions that have no basis make it a lot harder), but sanctions are one of the reasons why the Russian people are turning against Putin's unjust and cruel war against Ukraine and are therefore one piece in the puzzle of restoring what's right, sanctions against Iran brought them to the table or a nuclear treaty that worked extremely well until Donald, the manchild, tore up the treaty and messed it all up. Sanctions would have brought Iraq under Saddam back in line (he was willing to allow UN inspectors in due to the pressure) until out of nowhere the war criminal GWB decided to destabilize the entire region for no reason at all. Sanctions do work. But they need to be done right which usually means targeting the powerful.

Hey Z, you should do a video about the Venezuelan football federation. It is a complete mess, lost 2 managers in the past 3 years due to broken promises and failure to pay.
I'm Italian and i honestly never heard about him. However i've seen some of his clips on UA-cam and i have to say: HE WAS A BEAST!!!! In Serie B is really hard to emerge, most of the teams plays 5 backs and the majority of teams rely on counters. But Han broke that rule and broke the Serie B. He had everything: speed, elevation (despite being not so tall, he even scored with headers sometimes), stamina, control of the ball and also skills. Every time he had the ball, a dribbling is going to come. His only weakness was his passport. Once you play for that national team, you don't have any control over your life. Also the 80% of wage that goes to the governement is just bad. I wonder what could have happened if he were born in Seoul or even ask for a refugee european passport. Maybe politics will help safe his family from North Korea and he will be right now a 25 years old record breaker in some EU Championship, helping (i don't known) Wrexham climbing the ladder up to Premier Division or becoming the next big thing in RB Salzburg/RB Liepzig or even still playing in the Serie A

this man is taking the saying that all bald managers are class a little too serious 😭
This guy is currently on my squad. Yes I used the in-game editor to get him a WP. But it’s worth it.
Never expected to see Antonio Razzi in a Zealand video, of all places😂
I signed him for free in my Vålerenga save. Really good striker for the division.
Hey Z, you should do a video about the Venezuelan football federation. It is a complete mess, lost 2 managers in the past 3 years due to broken promises and failure to pay.
Another country who’s people are being starved by sanctions
Maybe politics will help safe his family from North Korea and he will be right now a 25 years old record breaker in some EU Championship, helping (i don't known) Wrexham climbing the ladder up to Premier Division or becoming the next big thing in RB Salzburg/RB Liepzig or even still playing in the Serie A
The g in Cagliari is silent.
i can't get my eyes off his head
good decision with the haircut, looks great
Such a sad story...
The last thing I though was possible is Zealand mentioning Antonio Razzi.
Ahh, the wonderful world of Internet.
I guess you could say he... wondered away
So sorry for this guy
Why are there freaking Sanctions against a *21 yr Footballer* this is beyond ridiculous. He has *NO SAY* on Whatever political turmoil North Korea has. All he wanted to do is play football so he can pursue his passion and support his family. I feel so bad for him man
High percentage of his wage would go to Kim Jong Un who doesnt want to give up nuclear missiles. That is why.
@@jonathanLTorontoThey could have just paid him in cash. In fact I'm sure they did.
Good video
