Houston finally has a great goalie but the defense still has plenty of weak spots that need to be removed. That failed clearance that led to the PK was an abomination.
Well, Coach Armas talked about how we were fighters, and we are. But we have to fight all 90 minutes. Another game where we lost because of a couple of late goals in the 2nd half. Short week though, let's pick our heads up. Still Rafa season, still time to improve, off to Vancouver!! Go Rapids❤💙
Not sure where you get offside. The attacker in the offside position is nowhere near the GK's sightline at any point, nor does he attempt to play the ball or make an obvious action that impacts the GK's ability to play the ball. And while the commentator's comment was strange, the referee absolutely can apply advantage inside the Penalty Area, though there should be an OGSO - better to have the ball 100% in the back of the net than give an 80% probability of a goal.
@5:56 No.6 is putting his hands on the keeper, and is also the second closest person to the goal. Read the offside rule, how many defenders (keeper included) should be in front of you as an attacker. This, if it's not a foul on the keeper, then it's an offside, this goal should have been disalowed. Btw. is football that popular in US, so that you all get emotional?
@@Pozzoy My apologies, I thought you were referring to Houston's 3rd goal, not the 3rd goal in general. I still don't think it's offsides. Yes, #5 of Houston is behind the 2nd to last defender, but he makes no attempt to play the ball; additionally, the contact that might've been initiated by this player was not enough to prohibit Steffen from making a play on the shot. I can certainly understand where you think this is offsides with the contact, but I think it has to be blatantly obvious. Believe me, as a Colorado fan, I don't want the opposing team to score, but it wasn't offsides.
Great win for the Dynamo Tarbell man of the match!

It wasn't offsides. Had Aliyu gotten the ball back from where he was at the end of the play, then it would've been offside.
