3:54 this scene is way more terrifying than the original. To see mokuba talking and having a normal voice come out, it just oozes an unsettling aura, and that "happy birthday to me" is an AMAZING payoff

You can feel the brotherly love between Mokuba and Setto even though the latter isn't there. The whole dialogue between Noah and Mokuba is awesomely funny, because the "villain redeems himself by stopping a danger he himself caused" thing has been done in so many shows, movies, books, etc.
I get the feeling after possessing Mokuba, a bit of Mokuba's kindness rubbed off on him.

The build-up to Explodia was so perfect that my sister and I nearly died laughing. I'm talking on the floor, suffocating from laughter, coughing and wheezing. and topped off with the blue eyes summoing hand... Bravo.... perfection.

I know that Yu-Gi-Oh! DM isn’t that old, but I do love how they treat Kaiba and Mokuba’s being adopted. My mother remembers her adoption as something shamed by other people, so seeing an anime from those years treat adoption as something great is kinda cool
I never got the adoption shame. Like, your parents 100% sure went out of their way because they wanted a kid and picked up you. The normal way usually is an accident that you have to deal with the consequences. An adoption is never an accident.

+Adam Besley If there were some interface between the virtual world and reality, the damage could have enabled him to fuse with whatever was closest. Also this is a show about ancient egyptian card games. This is one of the more normal things to happen.
I don't know I personally thought it was one of the sillier things to happen. It didn't help that in the actual show you could hear Gozaburo's voice saying something like "It's not over yet Seto!". And I burst out laughing the first time I heard it.
