The whole idea of an outdoor living space NOT occupied by dirt and lawn is so great.

Just under this video is an ad for Roundup. Show me a video for a Roundup free outdoor living space and I would be interested.
Having grown up down the street from Monsanto's chemical plant in Sauget Illinois, I go next week to see how my liver cancer is responding to the radiation beads.
Most home owners will have Roundup available so their yards will look good and their kids can play in it. Of the eight homes around me all eight spray with chemicals!
For most of the last hundred years the United States has been run by corporations and corrupt career politicians that have destroyed this country. I suggest an edible backyard is better as things will get much worse with our current corrupt demented pervert in charge.
Hello L R. Thank you for your honest viewpoint. We appreciate your watching out channel.
Good one bro!
Thank u sir
These videos would be better if you could inform us approximately how much this would cost and maybe go in depth about how much of each item we would need to make this. Also these are some very beautiful yards, but is there something we can do that still looks great but is also budget friendly?
Thanks for the comment Andrew. We have made the decision to not talk money on the channel. The primary reason is that things cost different in different regions. It would be best to get ideas from our channel but then speak with a local contractor about pricing. I hope that makes sense? Have the best day!
“The homeowner loves it for their two large dogs,” but do the dogs love this?? It’s very human-centric; hopefully the dogs get to go run around the parks!
needs an area with artificial turf for chooches
Be careful with artificial turf a lot of it has cancer causing agents. Research the product.😢
Would the pea gravel hurt the dogs paws?
Will pea gravel hold odors?
What to do about the inevitable odor you get from repeated use of the pea gravel? We have gravel for our dogs but it smells like urine over time. Tips?
Do you hose it down frequently ?
How will this work in northeast with snow ?
My backyard has a slope will the pea gravel wash away?
I wish someone answer this question
Yes, gravity plus rain/wind, etc. will make it move downhill over time.
Yea, this is amazing. Looks SUPER expensive though!
The dog areas are super cheep.
Every area has different pricing. You would need to talk with a local installer to get pricing. I hope that helps? Have a great day
@@BackyardDesignGuy that makes sense. 👌
@@BackyardDesignGuy”Dog areas”?? What dog areas?? I don’t see any. This is for humans.
I would love this but in Florida rocks are so crazy expensive!
Would any of it get too hot for the paws?
My clients have not mentioned anything...except their dogs LOVE IT and the home owners lover it as they don't have to clean the paws each time
Great point, the Texas sun 🔥
How can you keep your dogs from laying on your patio furniture?
Training 🤒
have a dog bed where they CAN lay comfortably near by
So the dogs never get to feel the grass you should try going barefoot on nothing but stone and concrete for a month
that is far from pet friendly. running on concrete is bad for their joints, also if they play rough, theres danger of injury. rocks are not comfortable for dogs to walk on, especially older dogs... injury waiting to happen. this is a perfect example of a back yard for people who have no business having pets.
Thank u for this comment. I appreciate your insite for the community
I would not go so far as to say they “have no business having pets” (that’s a bit harsh), but also, let’s not pretend that this is super dog-friendly. This is people-friendly. They can still go to the extra effort of taking their dogs to parks, etc., for exercise. It also depends on the activity level of the dog(s) whether or not the dogs would be able to benefit from being in the area during their less active times. I do understand the desire to have less muddy and dirty play areas for dogs (it’s just practical). I just think that there are better ways to achieve that than going to the opposite extreme where it looks like there is nothing going on in the yard for a dog at all!
My dog doesn’t like to walk on stones.
🤔
Too bad
