@@amsigi5125 yep, lighting just wants the path with the lowest resistance, so it is more likely that lighting hits a spot multiple times than it hitting different spots
Another shortcut you can use is the middle mouse button. If you hover have your crosshair over a block and have that block in your inventory, then you can press the middle mouse button and it will put that block into your hand
