Transdev 'Team Pennine' 1 Month On | In-Depth Network Review

So Team Pennine by Transdev has been running for exactly a month now so thought I'd head over to Halifax and Huddersfield and have a look and see whats been done to the old Yorkshire Tiger business. From Pride Of The North loan buses to the new Denby Darts and even some more new extension plans, this video outlines how the operation currently looks as well as explaining what is planned for the future.

Wait a minute the Mellor are arriving in September. That explains why some solos were sent into Rosso livery. There will be a total of six buses so my guess is the 561/562 which takes 3 buses on the rota, 577 and 574 which takes up 3 vehicles too. But I think it might backfire with the 574 as the Solos do get filled up on that route. The reason tiger stopped the Tempos was because the parking on Kershaw Estate became absolutely mad so it was harder for then to squeeze through.

do you know what's happening with the Coastliner buses next week when they go back to the winter timetable? Transdev will have half a dozen nice double deckers going spear will any be sent to Team Pennine?

I think Team Pennine's plan is to get the Versas branded for the 502.
I agree - it is the only Team Pennine link to another Transdev Subsidiary which is currently running.
@@sabsab8908 There is also the Sunday 587 which I think they are planning to get the tender for.
Great video as always; bit of constructive criticism though for these vlog-style videos: you need to make smoother transitions as I'm seeing the video appears to freeze for a split second sometimes before going to the next scene, which appears a little abrupt - depending on what editing software you use, you can add a fade transition between clips (much easier in Shotcut cos you can literally drag a clip to overlap the one before it a fair bit depending on how long you want the fade transition to be) like what I do to make it look more pleasant :)

the rosso e400s were replaced with the Yorkshire Tiger optare solo's and some of the plaxton centros
No it was the eclipses. The Centros will be school buses for Team Pennine however once they can get the eclipses back when buses come out of the refurbishment programme, the Centros will go back.
The Centros are not even at Rosso I don't think. A centro was spotted this morning on the 83 Huddersfield to Denby Dale service.
@@YorksLancsTransportHub some of them are... the Solos are at Rosso, and are replacing the Bury Bolts e200s which should be passed onto team Pennine.

7:00 well... the POTN livery is actually on the rosso bus G2s, not the eclipse 2s. they are just the generic 'Transdev' branding
It's Transdev school livery.
@@YorksLancsTransportHub no its not, the e400s are sometimes used on the 273, 480, 435 etc as well. the livery is the 'Travel Unravelled' design, not the School livery
