Thanks for the vid! Would it be possible to show the 3-5 seconds leading up to the bite so that we can see the retrieve you're using? It would be awesome to see the cast (from the beginning) that lead to a fish getting caught just so I can see how you're working that bait. Just a thought :)
if its seiko you just cast and let it fall. for drop shot you just let it fall. most times I don't do anything. either drag it slowly along bottom or at the rate that boat drifts or just wiggle it from time to time.
it's tough anywhere in socal. every lake I've fished has submerged trees. when you spend enough time at a lake you can figure out where the snags are. or look at steep cliffs and bluffs and figure what the shore above looks like it probably looks like that just beneath water. it's tricky and a pain but it does work. nature of fishing in cali
@@ji1236 I'm with you trust me. same with senkos and hooks. It's a pain and you can always just do topwater or snag less type baits but unfortunately drop shot is very effective. sometimes it's best to go with a guide. Use their equipment, also learn where spots are that may not be too snaggy.
Last week, I saw someone catch a bunch of Bass with people senko worms at Cachuma.
Such fun fishing, we found those things pushing Shad right on the bank a few weeks ago 🙌🏻
nice! Cachuma? I have a feeling topwater is gonna be nuts there!
ArcherFish had a few on the top water but the jerk bait was on fire!
@@SteadyDrift awesome!
QUE SIZE SE PUEDE LLEVAR ESE FISH ??
Nice dude!🤙

@@ArcherFish What did you use to drop shot?

@@ArcherFish Thank you!
Random question. Are the boats the same as the ones at Castaic?
yep.
What is the length of your rod?
that's personal
what rig were you using? nice bass!
mostly drop shot
Wow that was a great day on the water
Is it possible to dropshot that lake without snagging trees on every cast?

After a while I get tired of losing so many drop weights and hooks.
