I can see myself picking the apple, although it’s usually in first person and not from an external view, but if I actually want to, I can see someone grabbing it.
I can definitely see myself picking the apple both in first and third person. As far as the story goes, you are entirely valid in your reaction. Great video once again
Same for me but the weird thing is color which this applies to dreams too in which my mind tells me that certain things are a specific color but I can't actually see the color in my mind.
Shout out to anyone else with Aphantasia! I cannot picture anything at all in my mind, just blackness. The best description I have heard is that it's like using a computer with the screen turned off. I have a constant monologue running and I can still think visually, I just don't visualize it in the same way as everyone else. I'm 28 and I learned 6 months ago that everyone else in my life, besides my dad, can see imagery in their mind. Makes a lot more sense now that I never really enjoyed reading and struggled to remember scenes from a movie in the same way a lot of people can. Somehow I still ended up in a creative field though...
I can really only see an image in my mind for a split second then it's gone, and I can't just "remember" what I saw either because that would be picturing it.
The 400 Sniper is great for a Jungle Bounty army. The 400 Sniper can solo all Moabs, except for Bads, as long as someone cleans up the Bloons, which the Jungle Bounty army is amazing at. Even better, that Sniper takes a while to take down some of the chunkier Moabs, which buys you more time for Jungle's Bounty to recharge. Energizer sub is an asset too obviously.
That center village would have been so good with bottompath, can't believe you didn't go for it. 1. for the discount on all the druids and farms & secondly the extra cash generation (per pop and per ability)
I can definitely imagine myself picking an apple from a tree, both first and third POV in my mind. I’m an avid reader and play DND so having a mental movie of things happening makes both a lot more interesting. Also weirdly enough, one of my first memories in life is actually from a third person perspective. I remember exactly what I was doing and where I was, just like I was watching myself from the tree line. Always thought that was interesting.
Had to look up what that was and while I'm undiagnosed and just found out this was a thing, I did just spend the last 8 hours imagining how I'd react if a snake was in a tray. My head is where I live
What your thinking about is called aphantasia. It makes reading books really hard because you will read page after page and not remember what you were reading (at least this is how it is for me). I also cannot see myself picking the apple but I know what it would look like. Hope this helps!
I can see my self grabbing a juicy red apple of the tree, the tree is pretty young and the apple was holding quite well, so i can even see the tree coming with the apple and then swinging back after the apple breaks free from the tree bonds, i can also hear the sound the tree makes.
i can’t see things in my mind, it’s more the essence of something! like i can feel the presence of something, but i can’t see anything except things like fuzzy shapes that aren’t even really there :)
I can almost picture things in my mind, but only for a millisecond. Afterwards it's just an idea without shape, that simply makes sense. If I sit down in the dark with absolute quiet, I can picture things in my mind with high concentration.
I can definitely imagine an image of whatever it is I want in my minds eye. With a constant internal dialogue of thoughts. Can't fathom what it'd be like to not be able to see things in their mind or not have an internal dialogue of thoughts.
I can’t see myself picking that apple. I can, however, see me struggling for 10 minutes straight trying to get it off, only to eventually give up and find some help.
Chris. Keep that head up man. I know you will pull out of everything going on, just remember every day is what you make it dont let anything ruin your days!
believe it or not everyone has an internal monologue. it’s crazy like what happens when you types a sentence? when i do i hear a voice reading back everything i type/write.
It's difficult to get accurate numbers because most people never know they have it but it's estimated 1-3% of people have aphantasia (the inability to picture things with their mind) so a decent number of people watching these vids will have it.
Wait.... You're telling me it's uncommon to be able to visualize things? Bro what???? I can't not visualize things, it's actually very hard to just imagine the words alone unless I'm doing math
I can see the juicy red apple on the tree and can see me picking it in first or third person, whatever comes to mind. And I can also hear the leaves on the tree as it recoils from the apple being picked. Like the rustling of the leaves. However the loudness of the noise does not change depending on first or third person.
I have internal ‘sight’ and an internal monologue, not like vivid with colour, what I can picture is like, almost black and white, but very clear, like when I picture it, I can tell the shapes and motion pretty well. As for the monologue it’s almost like a narrator to my life in a sense. Gonna read other people’s answers, this stuff is cool
I have aphantasia. I cannot picture picking a red apple off a tree. However, my brain sees the data points of red, apple, tree, and picking in kind of an Excel spreadsheet. I can then construct an idea of what that could feel like to pick an apple off a tree. I can see sound in my mind, though. If someone asks me to visualize a cave, I can imagine dripping water and the echo of that water ripples forth and I can kinda see a cave but I can vividly imagine audio.
I can see stuff in my mind, its just I have to really focus or zone out to see clearly, but apart from that its usually watery-ish looking if that makes sense
I have a condition that I got from my mom called aphantasia. The condition causes me to be unable to visualize 3D objects. It’s honestly quite strange. I can visualize things, but it’s only when I’m not thinking about it, and even then, it’s extremely blurry. When it comes to the apple example, I’m able to visualize an “apple,” but it’s just a vague, blurry blob of red. The moment I start trying to visualize the tree, I just simply can’t; it’s far too complex of an image to visualize it
I feel like I can picture things but I’m honestly not sure. I can’t close my eyes and see what a picture of something but I can imagine it and know what it would look like.
My issue with Druid farming has always been that they pop things at the start of the map, so I can't slow down rounds in a good way, to get more abilies ready.
I can see myself picking the apple in either first or third person. I can give things as much detail as reality too but not everything at once. If I’m focusing on the apple then my arms and the tree are a bit less vivid for example
Hi Chris! I have aphantasia (the condition you were discussing at the start of this video). I don't generally think of it as a disorder, although i can see that perception and it may be actually classified as a disorder/disability, but i generally perceive it to be a neurodivergence in the same vein as being autistic. My brain functions very differently in one particular significant aspect from many other people's brains. That lack of visual imagination, and mental imagery, does make some tasks harder, and for me it has made spatial reasoning, visual creativity, and remembering physical details of a memory, specifically, very difficult. However, inversely, it enhances my abilities in other aspects. I find myself much more linked to the written word precisely because it can stimulate that imagination and allow me to feel immersed in a fantasy in a way that other media, that focuses more on visuals, might not. Overall, it has its upsides and downsides, and is not exclusively a "lack" of an ability.
so, me and my first younger brother have a very different oppinion on books, especially growing up. I loved them and could read for days on end and he would maybe read one book over summer holiday. Turns out, I can picture things and therefore was living through these storys and he was just reading a good story. Thats why I never liked his favourite books, the warrior cat series. I just cant see myself as a cat on its journey and for him it was a great story being told.
No lie, the same thing happened to me in college. Was going to eat lunch at the cafe alone and some girl comes up and says "my friend can't meet me anymore. do you want to have supper with me?" I said sure and we sat down and she started asking me religion stuff and that I should come by her church sometime. I saw her with like 30 different people throughout the year after that.
It was only the past couple years I found out other people cannot picture things in their minds vividly! Lol The way I describe thinking in my mind is like walking into a "portal" or through a doorway. The way you see the world around you as you're living in it, is the exact way I live it in my mind except I can basically do anything I want in my mind because it's "not real" my imagination. But I can see it and the next senses like smell touch hear taste I can sort of sense in my mind. It's basically like the same world I live in, but invisible to everyone else except for me. I can even talk to people if I want or myself.. I literally talk to other consciousnesses in my mind which are kind of my mind remembering things or deciding on things or trying to fix problems I've had in real life recently or my mind making decisions on what I want to do or just focusing on work and what not.. I'm a writer and I can make up whole worlds and characters and scenes and so many different game designs and it just comes to me so easily having another crazy world inside my mind!
i have a really hard time visualizing shit when im awake...but my dreams are so vivid! in my waking mind, if i. trying to picture picking an apple its like abunch of grey blobs that convey sensory meaning, but do not resemble vision in any way. however, if i were truly unable to visualize, i would think my dreams would look the same: grey blobs, etc. this curiosty of the psyche intrigues the shit out of me!
It’s called aphantasia when you see literally nothing but black and I have it books suck unless it’s like self improvement books or statistical but for me math is still my strong suite
i can create an image in my mind doing it but only in 3rd person. and i'm pretty thin (been bulking for 6 months) so when i do it a lot i start to get a twisted view of my own body
I can see the apple on the tree, but no matter how hard I try I cant imagine my own face or anyone’s face on the person picking it. I can imagine a hand picking it. Just not a person.
I can see like a 2d kind of version of an apple and i can see a picture of a tree with apples but i cant picture myself picking the apple off of a tree. I don’t read fantasy books because of this. I can relate things in my head to other things I have seen in real life like if someone told me to picture a house it would be one id seen at some point then if they asked me to see a person walking down the driveway i would picture a moment in my life that i saw someone doing so. Making up the picture in my head though would not work. This makes it hard to care for reading fantasy and keeping up with stuff in those books
1:13 I don't read I only play ct. The average Bloons player does tend to do things such as eat, shower or touch grass. But as an active contested territory player I don't have enough time nor mental capacity remaining to indulge in hobbies such as reading or squeezing yellow snow.
I see the apple in first person as I approach an oak tree on a hill, with several red apples looking like red spots on the giant green bush or leaves. I jump to reach an apple, and eventually, I get one. But I see that part of it looks a little weird, and I throw it as hard as I can, letting it semi-break into small chunks in front of my face.
i can see it, but ive never had a dream in first person. i always see myself doing these things in third person. but since you mentioned books and imagining them, i hate reading books weirdly enough lol
Oh I can see it all. I'm a little messed up, I even see colors that aren't there. Like the way light distorts into colours, think we spoke about it with your pixel vision
Because i see myself as my character i see “me” (my character) pick it and eat it and i can see the color and somtimes can smell it if i really actually tru to focus but thats harder to do.

Same
Same
Same
For me it’s third person but if I want I can see first person
same :)
I can definitely see myself picking the apple both in first and third person. As far as the story goes, you are entirely valid in your reaction. Great video once again
Same for me but the weird thing is color which this applies to dreams too in which my mind tells me that certain things are a specific color but I can't actually see the color in my mind.
the longer the story went on the wilder it got
She was recruiting you to the church 😂😂 that is like the last thing I would have guessed 😂😂

Afantasia was not a very successful sequel
I can really only see an image in my mind for a split second then it's gone, and I can't just "remember" what I saw either because that would be picturing it.
I love story time with Chris episodes 🤩
The 400 Sniper is great for a Jungle Bounty army. The 400 Sniper can solo all Moabs, except for Bads, as long as someone cleans up the Bloons, which the Jungle Bounty army is amazing at. Even better, that Sniper takes a while to take down some of the chunkier Moabs, which buys you more time for Jungle's Bounty to recharge. Energizer sub is an asset too obviously.
Also 023 heli dose the same thing for cheaper with knock back to moabs
but what about the apple
That center village would have been so good with bottompath, can't believe you didn't go for it. 1. for the discount on all the druids and farms & secondly the extra cash generation (per pop and per ability)
« Balls of yellow snow » hits hard
if hes still telling the story at round 100 you know it was good cause he stalled so long
I can picture it in 3d quality by training my self in lucid dreams
Sorry about Haily dude that's a bad first wild girl spotting, but nice story, would love to hear more dodgeball stories!
I have maladaptive daydreaming so I can think of anything very vividly and for hours
Had to look up what that was and while I'm undiagnosed and just found out this was a thing, I did just spend the last 8 hours imagining how I'd react if a snake was in a tray. My head is where I live

Instructions unclear. I have eaten an apple
Instructions unclear, I fell when trying to grab apple now in hospital .
He may not be religious but SJB is a saint bro 💯
I can almost picture things in my mind, but only for a millisecond. Afterwards it's just an idea without shape, that simply makes sense. If I sit down in the dark with absolute quiet, I can picture things in my mind with high concentration.

I love all your videos man keep up the amazing work
bro went into his deep lore this video
I have aphantasia. I cannot see anything in my mind and I don't have an inner monologue. I think in abstract concepts
I can’t see myself picking that apple. I can, however, see me struggling for 10 minutes straight trying to get it off, only to eventually give up and find some help.
The story was literally a nightmare😅
Chris. Keep that head up man. I know you will pull out of everything going on, just remember every day is what you make it dont let anything ruin your days!
believe it or not everyone has an internal monologue. it’s crazy like what happens when you types a sentence? when i do i hear a voice reading back everything i type/write.
For some reason i tought of a surrealistic version of picking the apple, like it was partially inside that tree, maybe im too tired
It's difficult to get accurate numbers because most people never know they have it but it's estimated 1-3% of people have aphantasia (the inability to picture things with their mind) so a decent number of people watching these vids will have it.
I cannot see things in my mind, whenever i imagine seeing things with my eyes shut, it’s just the back of my eyelids I can see
Man that story was crazy 🤣🤣
i can see myself in third person grabbing the apple. i used to read books a lot as a kid so i have a lot of practice
I can see all of those, images, words, symbols, the voice, all of it.
Wait.... You're telling me it's uncommon to be able to visualize things? Bro what???? I can't not visualize things, it's actually very hard to just imagine the words alone unless I'm doing math
No way people can't use imagination to paint a picture in their head. I think I even use it too much tbh, live inside my head rent free 😂
U can add energizer to this strat because is fantastic
I can see the juicy red apple on the tree and can see me picking it in first or third person, whatever comes to mind. And I can also hear the leaves on the tree as it recoils from the apple being picked. Like the rustling of the leaves. However the loudness of the noise does not change depending on first or third person.
picturing something in the brain is one thing
but imagine not having your own voice commentating your life in the head
I'm ADHD, whatever is spoken is immediately translated to images and video.
I have aphantasia - I can't visualise things at all in my imagination. I don't build a picture of characters when I'm reading a book for example.
Yes, I can see "myself" picking the apple, but the representation of myself was completely different from my real self!

One of the intros of all time, for sure
You're messing with my brain.

I feel like I can picture things but I’m honestly not sure. I can’t close my eyes and see what a picture of something but I can imagine it and know what it would look like.
Speaking as someone who can't picture things very well at all, I just don't read books very often because of it!
Some people dont have an inside voice. Just emptiness
I see nothing in my mind. Kainda fell left out.
I can picture me grabbing the apple. But a can't picture faces
My issue with Druid farming has always been that they pop things at the start of the map, so I can't slow down rounds in a good way, to get more abilies ready.
I can see myself being too short to grab the apple
I can see myself picking the apple in either first or third person. I can give things as much detail as reality too but not everything at once. If I’m focusing on the apple then my arms and the tree are a bit less vivid for example

I also have aphantasia. If I concentrate enough, I can make little grey wisps that vaguely resemble what I'm trying to picture.

Hope your doing good and thanks for teaching me the true ways of bloons td6!❤ (And traumatizing me at the beginning😂😢😢❤)
Like if you can picture super detailed banana-man brating the shit out of an apple
I cannot picture things in my mind
Bro had 6 kajillion dollars but didnt spent any 💀💀
Chris, I definitely cannot picture anything in my mind! It’s just like I’m imagining it but not really seeing it
when i hear stuff depending on how it's worded and the details i usually do picture doing it or seeing it in my mind
yep I can
cutting it tight with the $ at the end there
I can see myself grabbing the apple in first and third person pretty vividly
Yes I can picture it in whatever way I want
I cannot see myself picking an apple. I understand the concept, i know I can, but i do not visualize it in my mind.
No way, there is a movie about the top 7 religions fighting it out in Fortnite!
i have a really hard time visualizing shit when im awake...but my dreams are so vivid! in my waking mind, if i. trying to picture picking an apple its like abunch of grey blobs that convey sensory meaning, but do not resemble vision in any way.

Reminded me of that time I thought I was getting laid but ended up meeting her mom who was trying to sell me a pyramid scheme😂
I can picture the apple thing but I think I will be permanently scarred from the intro
i cant see the apple being picked, but i can imagine it
i can see it, but ive never had a dream in first person. i always see myself doing these things in third person. but since you mentioned books and imagining them, i hate reading books weirdly enough lol
I can see myself perfecty in a movie like scene
the story is too good man
Generally I can't see things in my mind, I have the concept of them but the visual itself is fuzzy.
I made a whole Studio Ghibl animated short about picking the apple off the tree 😅.
I can't even picture it at lol
Thank you for putting me in that one video man I think about that so much
0:59 what question is that?
Edit. You got there I suppose.
Druid strat, use monkeyopolis in the center, along with a druid, place 8 420 farms and your 051 druid
For this map bit should have been dead center.
Imagine 9 dots 3 rows of 3, your village and druid should be in the 5th dot spot.
Not necessarily myself but I can see random things picking up the apple on the tree but me is a lot harder
