I was just leaving the same comment as you but figured it out. If Hikaru takes with the bishop, white Qxe6 checking the king. Hikaru either blocks the king or moves it then black can take bishop back. He would be down a pawn when all is said and done.

At 16:06 isn't Bxc6 winning a piece because whatever the opponent takes with he gets royal forked and if he doesnt take back you just win a knight?
he plays Qxe6 check first and then take the bishop with the pawn
