We need a Big Red President.
#BigRedPresident2016
MakoRuu If that ever happened, instead of Hail to the Chief they should play Kane's original theme. Fireballs and everything.
Who would have thought that one day we'd be looking to a professional wrestler for a reality check. Well done Kane!
He is one of the brightest minds in World Wrestling Entertainment. God bless Glenn. I enjoyed watching your career unfold as a kid till now being 24 years of age. Good luck on your campaign and hope you get all the glory for your community.
The Big Red Machine 4 President!!
DEMON KANE FOR PRESIDENT 2020
I never would have thought the big red machine was so smart
THAT'S GOTTA BE...THAT'S GOTTA BE GLENN JACOBS!!
Thumbs up if you are a WWE wrestling fan and wanted to see Kane talk intelligent!
Glenn Jacobs for President ! What an intellegent man!
my teacher and mentor glenn is a very cleaver and inteligent man i repect and admire him alot
The Big Red Scholar Kane!
Never knew that Glen was "awake" before... Very cool stuff!!
It's nice knowing my favorite wrestler as I child is an anarchist just like me!
Citizen Kane !!
Look at Kane he looks great.
I love his glasses
WOW!!! KANE!!!?? Actually, I shouldn't be surprised. A lot of people don't know that many professional wrestlers, when not in the squared circle, are very intelligent, articulate, well-read folks. John "Bradshaw" Layfield comes to mind, as he wrote a best-selling book some years ago on stock investing, and is a successful entrepreneur outside of pro wrestling.
Never thought the man who debut at bad blood 1997 was such an smart guy
Good God Almighty that's Kane's music!!!!
It's KANE!!!!!!!
What are the chances you could talk to your brother about resurrecting Henry Hazlett, Milton Friedman, Hayek, and Mises?
Brandon Kirby Who are they and how would they change the world I think I've heard of mises before hoping to learn
Kane is going to set the fed on fire after a coffin match.
A fantastic read. I would be first in line for the movie!
THAT'S GOTTA BE KANE!
Holy shit I was your biggest fan as a child even though most didn't put you number 1 on their list. You are so smart man I stopped watching wrestling young but your economic views clearly show that personally are similar. You are such a good person
glenn is on of a kind is is my mentor my teacher and i respect him
dude he is monster! dont love him okay
NO HE A'INT
I RESPECT GLENN OK
***** you are stupid, he is kane, actually he is wrestler in wwe!! he is bad person
***** Are you new to the interwebz?
Karen Occardi. thats truth if i meat him i would do so respectful for the big red machine
read the book, Creature From Jekyl Island. The whole story. Jacobs is correct.
Great guy, very smart, and he'll probably do a great job as governor.
Kane got my vote and I live in Tasmania he should be the next president
thats got to be kane!!!
I've been a long time fan of Kane since his debut at Bad Blood PPV with Undertaker vs HBK. But for one moment I never thought he was a politician and against the FED....he certainly will do his powers and burn the FED to ashes.
If you follow wrestling, you'd know that this guy is one of the smartest guys ever.
It's sort of cool just to see Kane as himself.
Holy Fuck, 5 seconds in and I am amazed at his intellect.
Govt can temporarily hide the laws of economics but CANNOT destroy them.
One of the most intelligent people in wrestling. I know that's what is always expected to be said but I legitimately doubt the Kane character would've been as successful if it was given to someone else. He was great both behind the mask and without it, he always delivered when Kane changed and brought new-layers to the character, whether he was the monster, the psychopath, the comedic character or the jealous vicious brother of The Undertaker. Glenn is one of the best things that happened to WWE
Thanks Kane! I first heard about this from Edward Griffin 's Creature from Jekyll Island. Would be awesome if a movie was made about this...
During the Second Punic War, the Romans introduced a new monetary system based on the Denarius, which was a silver coin, and therefore hardly "valueless." The Denarius was the backbone of the Roman monetary system for 400 years, during which the Roman economy was quite prosperous. In the third century, the emperors, most of whom reigned only a short time, ruined the Denarius. At the same time, the economy went into depression. Coincidence? I think not.
I would like Kane to be the president of US. #MonsterForPresident
It's Kane! Hellfire and brimstone, it's Kane!
Despite his brutish exterior, Kane is extremely intelligent. He knows a lot about the government and current events involving politics. I'm gonna take his advice and learn more about the Federal Reserve System,. I can find one online--that way I won't have necessarily have to go to the library. He also has some strong valid points on the economy.
He is so different when he in WWE arena and politic arena!!
I love Jekyll Island, but if there's one thing Mr. Hyde did there, it was creating the Federal Reserve.
My question is why other countries and private organizations continue to lend money to a country with no hope of repaying? What is the ultimate resolution to this debt? What will happen when we run out of willing and able creditors?
citizen Kane! citizen Kane! citizen Kane! citizen Kane!
CHOKESLAM! CHOKESLAM TO THE FEDERAL RESERVE. BAH GAWD HES SENT OUR DEBT STRAIGHT TO HELL
they did not interfere with the idea of the USA, they encouraged it, they funded it, they pretty much ensured that you Americans, get what you deserve... a life of servitude, a life of suffering, a life of penance.....Christianity and the fed? one offers you salvation in the afterlife, while the other, demands you obey in this life. both of them.....served to the people in such a way that, while you debate this conundrum, you do not rock the boat or think outside of the box
Kane for President!
SEND THE FED TO HELL SEND THE FED TO HELL!
Although I suppose the other side of the argument is that gold standards DO NOT work exactly because governments do not honor them.
I can guarantee you this, though: It's better than the current system, which encourages out and out counterfeiting on the part of the banks.
Gold standards do not simply fail, they are destroyed by governments.
wow Mises had a big meeting at Jekyll Island.
I use the example of the government repudiating debt, because there is not enough money in the M1 money supply to pay the nominal debt. If there was, then the same assertions hold, but the economy might not be so much worse off as in the repudiation example.
Would this apply to Canada as well?
Kane has done it all
1. He was a dentist
2. He was a monster
3. Now he is a mayor
love kane!
Did anyone just watch this just to see kane as a normal bean? With no makeup, mask, bag, towel. Just him
With commodity money illegal, govt can (and govts have) counterfeited more money to pay debt. Counterfeiting IS repudiating.
The problem is govt, not the bankers who were corrupted by govt.
I agree. But they NEVER seem to want to open that can of worms. I'm on board with a lot of Austrian ideals and RP is my homeboy, but talk about being arcane and stubborn.
AGREED!
Please - read "The Creature from Jekyll Island" by G. Edward Griffin. It is a fascinating book that exposes the FED and what it has done to our country since its founding in 1913. Pass it on to everyone you know!
Just Glenn
Well, the idea is that a gold reserve keeps inflation in check because at any time, people can just redeem their currency for gold. It's supposed to keep the banks honest. The problem is that governments have repeatedly REMOVED the gold standard every single time they want to deficit spend (usually so they can fund war). Gold standards work(at preventing government overspending), which is why governments hate them and always demonize them.
What a behemoth.
Currency should be totally valueless"
Well, you got your wish in 1933. Look where that got us.
Bro Kane looks like Jocko Willink in this video lmao.
Nice
A prof wrestler, Jesse Ventura, was governor of Michigan (Minnisota?). I'd take a prof wrestler over a community organizer any day.
#Jacobs2016
IN A WORLD.. where debt equals money..
The creature at Jekyll Island.
Kane looks like Penn Jilette with no hair
If the US Government paid off all its debt then there would be no money. Let's examine that more closely. If the US Government repudiated all of its debt, then there would be paper in wallets and numbers in bank accounts, and the economy (or what's left of the economy after the biggest financial Armageddon of all time) would continue to use this paper as a medium of exchange. There is no reason to believe they wouldn't. There would still be money; it's the economy that would be toast.
so weird listening to Kane-glenn Jacobs explain politics and other stuff while wearing a good looking suit& tie!!! LOL
Kane should just choke-slam these bankers straight to hell
Somehow I doubt the federal reserve aka private banks will voluntarily give up their control over the issuance of paper money and go quietly into the night.
jp morgan, carnegia, rockerfeller, ect helped the country. now the federal reserve could be different.
Anyone notice how Mr Glenn is reading from a text or screen? Watch the video on full screen, observe his eye movement, and match that to what he says. So he is reading something up, so it does not come from the heart. So in effect he is acting. Do people see this? and do people understand what this implies? or are people blinded by wanting to hear what they believe? B.T.W who do you think sponsered Von Mises?
Big red monster looking like dimitri rascalov from gta 4
interesting how intelligent he is.
What's Glen Beck's sister trying to tell us?
You changed from paid to repudiated. With paid, there would be no counterfeit got money but commodity money is possible. The Treasury has much gold in Ft. Knox and NYC.
US govt counterfeit currently retains sufficient power to buy real resources. But
1923 German hyperinflation is all too possible.
MN
My guess would be WAR.
what is it?
He looks different.
1910 Jekyll Island secret conference score: Bankers 1, Americans 0.
representative leaders score Those for bankers 4376, those for Americans 16
I thought he was a little big for an economics prof!
Consolidating power upon something like gold allows for more power over that vehicle. No? Why does the gold standard always fail? Because it's the few with the most that have control and the most (public) with the fewest (wealth) get screwed. In other words, 70% of the current debt is interest paid to banks. You want to peg that to gold and allow the banks even greater power over a "sound" currency? Funny.
"giving banks or gvmt gold power " .... what is "gold power" ?
HE'S SOO HOT!!!!!!!!!!!1
hey its kane
Long time ago i think take work make money ....persent money is working of every subject every connection every humamsalaly every polution every economy symtem and every people for make money.
It is time for WWE to create a Federal Reserve inspired wrestler with a well groomed beard. He will have no name but would be known only by his finishing move, the "Printing Press". He will fly into the arena in a specially equipped Chinook helicopter with a fire hose that floods the ring with Federal Reserve Notes. After The Printing Press lowers himself down into the ring, the fireworks hit, the arena goes dark, and then Kane appears and proceeds to spank some Federal Reserve candy ssA!
He forgot to mention "1913"!
They ruined him in WWE.....
Yeah multiple time tag team champion world champion ECW Champion having best feud of year in the past and having one of the best gimmicks in the last 10+ years yeah the wwe ruined him stfu
***** Yeah but i liked the old Kane better.....Anyway don't care now as i don't watch WWE anyway.
are you kidding me? there was a free market in 1980's?
Read 'The Creature from Jekyll Island' to get the full story. Or watch G. Edward Griffin explain it here: /watch?v=lu_VqX6J93k
He wears glasses. Must be one of them thar intellekchuels.
a damn-near-seven-foot-tall normal bean, you mean?
the only republican I would ever even just barely consider voting for again
