Canal fishing-Tench

In June, I'm heading out for a long-awaited fishing trip, with the goal of catching a tench. As we know, tench are fish that spawn relatively late, so I'm hoping to be out before this period and land a beautiful, sizeable Tench.
In preparation for this trip, I'm testing various baits to find the most effective ones. I'm pre-baiting the spot with tench's favorite treats, hoping to lure them in. Patiently, I wait for the first signs of activity, anticipating that I can outsmart this cautious and clever fish.
Eagerly, I watch for the first bite, which will signal that my strategy is working and that I'm on the right track to catching a magnificent tench.
