Perhaps you can also explain away the likes of Ray Charles, Charley Pride, Aaron Neville, Darius Rucker, and Cowboy Troy who have all had Country sounding music chart on the Country chart, with the key words there being Country sounding and even Tina Turner has released a Country album too.
Charley Pride has also won the Country Music Association Vocalist of the Year award in 1971 and 1972 and was awarded CMA Entertainer of the Year in 1971, long before Lil Nas X was even born and I suspect there's a good chance it was before you were too.
There's plenty of racism out there anyway without you having to go looking for it and the issue here is that this isn't really a Country sounding song and that's it. Neither is Cowboy by Kid Rock so it didn't make the Country chart but Picture by him and Allison Moorer did, mainly because she is a Country singer and the song has more of a Country sound to it and Kid Rock was still white during both songs.
