- The #Toyota Hilux Conquest 4x4 AT 2.8L is now wider and has a different suspension geometry from the previous model. It has 2.8 L engine as against the 4x2 which has only 2.4L engine, is it worth the extra 400k difference?

Nagagandahan pa rin ako sa porma ng Hilux lalo n yung harapan nito kahit old design na parang tibay ng itsura. Ky lng mas okay engine option s dmax at ng old strada dahil lahat ng variants isa lng engine nila.

Salamat sa video sir. I got 4x2 last Sept. Ang pagkakaiba lang sa 4x2 bukod sa 2.8L ang 4x4 ay ang stabilzer bar, wide wheel base, wide side fender at wireless charger. Ang nagustuhan ko sa Toyota Hilux in general hindi naluluma kaagad ang style.

If maintenance is your concern, get the hilux as it will less costly to maintain

You can fix ride comfort but it’s really really hard to fix reliability.

@@dougsullivan3564 Hilux was not technically designed as a passenger car but for loading stuffs. I had mine loaded with ceramic and porcelain tiles and the ride was excellent but if only with passengers I would say a bit not comfortable.

Sir halos lahat nang vlogs mo napanuod kona. Kaso undecided parin ako sa navarra pro 4x at triton athlete 4x4 at conquest 4x4. Kung ikaw sir ang tatanungin. Ano ang bibilhin mo. Sya magiging first car namin mag asawa at gagamitin lang namin sya for every day use. Not for business kasi wala pa, maybe in the future. Salamat nang marami.
@@chrisitianarvinasi190 hello sir, ok since nasabi mo na hindi mo gagamitin sa business and pang daily mo lang, the hilux conquest is not applicable for you, the ride is just not acceptable if idadaily mo siya. Matagtag talaga kasi siya, pankargahan tuning ng suspension niya and mabilis ka mapapagod especially if occasionally ilolongdrive mo siya. So it’s between the triton athlete and navarra pro 4x nalang talaga. For me I don’t like the looks of the triton tbh but I’ll still choose it over the navara.. I can sacrifice the looks perspective because it feels more new, since it is really an all new model naman talaga, unlike the navara na facelift lang siya. Malapit narin lumabas ang new model ni navara so pag lumabas yun luma na agad unit mo. May mga certain parts ng interior ng navara that feels outdated even though bago dashboard niya. Engine wise also, i prefer the performance of the 4n16 less lag sa low rpms and malaki ang difference pagdating sa refinement mas tahimik si triton. Also mas fuel efficient si triton than the YD25 ng navara. Since i’ve owned a terra before and it is really not fuel efficient. Sa ride naman mas maganda ride ni Navara but if madrive mo sila both halos di mo manonotice kaagad difference they both offer great ride quality naman for a pick-up. + the good thing sa triton naka EPS na siya so magaan yung manibela niya kaya mas magaan pakiramdam especially sa daily usage. Kaya for me if ok naman sayo looks ni triton mas maganda talaga na kunin si triton.

Actually sir sinasabi lang nila na 2.4 at 2.8 same lang po laki ng makina magka iba lang ecu nakalagay tapos mababa ng ng 2.4 ng displacement 400mm sa 2.8 is 500mm tapos mataas ang ecu naka lagay kaya ung iba na naka 2.4 kuno pero same makina papalitan lng ng ecu tapos papa remap para tumaas ag horse power tapos palitan na lang ng malking displacement mag 500mm
Engine tuning po ang tawag niyan, ginagawa naman yan halos sa lahat na car brand, mas magastos kasi kung gumawa ng bagong makina kasi mag momolding na naman sila ng bagong Engine block na mas malaki ang cylinder. Kaya ginagawa nila tune up lang parang ginagalit lang nila ang makina para mas malakas. Kagaya ng bagong Triton 2024 same engine 2.4L lang pero Twin-Turbo 4N16. Dati ay 4N15 single Turbo 2.4L.

@@kisapmatavlog7378Kaya nga Engine Tunning pa rin yan. Basta nag adjust ng displacement sa pamamagitan ng reprogramming ng ecu tuning din ang tawag niyan. Public knowledge naman yan kahit sa ibang brand ganyan naman ginagawa dahil nga di biro gumawa ng panibagong makina it adds cost kaya ina adjust lang displacement. Like sa Hilux parehas lang ang laki ng 2.4 at 2.8, 4 cylinder 16 valve ang displacement ng 2.4 ay 2393cc ang 2.8 naman ay 2775cc. Mas mataas ang 2.8 kaya mataas din ang power output. Yung 2024 na GRS sa Hilux ngaun tinaasan pa siguro lalo kaya mas malakas siya ngaun. Meron ako dito technical specification ng Hilux dito, kasi bumili ako ng Conquest last year September.

Lol, i owned both. May pros and cons bawat sasakyan. So far yung ranger raptor ko almost 100kms na wala pang major repair. Mas kumportable si ranger mas marami tech and mas stable sya sa corners and high speeds. Si hilux naman good for hauling heavy stuff. Its all about knowing how to do proper maintenance hndi lang brand ang end all be all para masukat ang reliability ng sasakyan. Bagay ang Toyota sa mga pinoy kase karamihan mga ignorante sa sasakyan at walang alam sa maintenance so e aasa na lang sa reliability. And dont get me started on Resale value. You buy a car to drive in the first place nit to sell it.

Hindi sya bagay, kung magkabit ka kailangan mo mag kabit ng spacer para lumabas sa fender ang gulong o kaya palit ka ng mags witjh a different offset
