Today’s Sermon is called Theophilos, which is greek for “Friend of God” What does it mean to be god’s friend? What good things are ours in Christ because of our friendship with God? Assurance! Knowing that I can talk with Him at all times, being aware that He abides in me and I in Him comforts me in such a remarkable way. This doesn’t mean that I’m not without sin, trials and all that is here on this earth. The comfort in knowing He’s mine and I am His is what one has to be friends with The One and only true Living God to know.
Pastor Alex, this was enlightening and again what I’ve not heard ever before. To God be The Glory, Amen Amen and Amen.

i was not ready for this message when i first heard it, my heart was very hard, but by God's grace i am starting to see my faults and cracks and reasons why this kind of love is so hard. romanticizing friendships/churches/seeing them as romantic (transactional) relationships. this sacrificial love is hardest and i'm praying through His Word that my heart would continue to be softened, praise God! and thank you🤍
