    R.I.P. Mr. Bogdanovich
I just learned the news and I’m devastated. One of the brightest lights in Hollywood has finally burned out. However, his influence will live forever. Thank you for your contributions to film, Peter.

The Magnificent Ambersons is now called today a mangled masterpiece. Its a great film. Btw thats not quite true he never had a box office success. The Stranger was his only box office success. Ironically it was Orsons least favourite of the films he did because he told Peter it wasnt the kind of movies he wanted to make. He wanted to make artistic films

4:14 I feel like Orson Welles was crying because Hollywood took everything from him and destroyed his career.

Orson said theyll love me when im dead. His other films post Kane and much more highly thought after his death films like The Lady from Shanghai The Trial Othello Macbeth and Touch Of Evil

They damaged his career, they had not the power to destroy it. Aside from the obvious triumphs, mentioned by Moore, he also made Chimes at Midnight, which I consider one of his best acting performances.
