@ Hidden abilities are pretty rare, so I can see why Jerome has never used moves that would work with contrary. Although we never get to see the ability of the Pokémon so who knows.

I think one of the reasons many Pokémon don't get a good moveset is because when a command is used to level them up, they don't learn the moves they normally would
