Omg i have to say this but do people not understand that you can make her recipe then add powdered sugar and jam to theirs. Maybe she doesn't prefer it. Thank you for sharing the recipe Nicole 😄☺️
@@AnthonyS-d3m it is confusing. That’s why. “Omg.” If you are making chicken, but call it “ribs” don’t be surprised when people don’t know what you’re talking about.
Aww that sucks.. I completely understand though, my husband is allergic to eggs also so he can't have this sandwich. It is weird though because he can have eggs in baked goods because im guessing the heat of the oven is killing some sort of bacteria in the eggs. When it comes scrambled eggs or anything like this, he can't have it
@@CookingWithNicole24 same here!!! That's crazy! I can eat mayonnaise too. I don't understand but as far as straight egg I'll be in pain for hours. And the weird part is grew up eating eggs and after I had my son twenty three years ago they gave me a shot and I can't remember what it was for but ever since then I couldn't eat them. But I love watching new recipes! Keep going!! Great job!
Hi, I left that as an option in the recipe. I don't prefer it that way but it's in the recipe in description box. Please feel free to make it how you like 😉
@@CookingWithNicole24 sorry I never really read the description boxes. I had a whole discussion with my chef and another cook last year at my work about it. So many people have no idea about this part of the sandwich.
Looks good enough. But I wouldn’t call it a monte cristo. Perhaps you were in a restaurant where they don’t know what a Monte Cristo is. Signed, A Professional Cook
@@diehardkitchenfoodie still, making a unconventional sandwich, and calling it by the wrong name. You should probably bring attention to that in your video. If you did that, nobody would be talking about it. Just a tip per future videos, right? I’m not sending out hate. I’m sending out love. Your videos will be better in the future. If you don’t do this again. Don’t call something what it is not and then make us look for the reason why you did that somewhere other than in the video. Good luck. Chef Nicki 💗
This looks quick, easy, and tasty! Yum!

Where’s the jam? A real monte has raspberry jam or at least strawberry. And icing sugar on top 😢

Ya, the chef that made it did it this way then added a fried egg on top of it. He didn't make it with the powdered sugar and berry jam.
Hi, I don't know if you know this but in her recipe in the description box, she has optional ingredients that say add berry jam and powdered sugar

@@CookingWithNicole24 then you were influenced by an unconventional chef. This is not a Monte Cristo.
However, it looks like a very good sandwich.
