This is something that isn't explained often enough. Makes a massive difference to sound quality. Excellent advice for anyone, not just Trickfish owners.
When you are making your initial gain setting you can keep the Master level all the way down r the mute function on. Then bring the Master up to the desired volume while still being aware that any changes in EQ may require a slight adjustment in gain as well.

I have one question Mike.. In the initial phases when you were setting your gain structure, what was the Master level at??
