Nice video. I couldn't agree with you more when you said spending less time on social media or being mindful with the time spent just browsing decreases the FOMO in me & also I spent less... I am also trying to do a low spend in preparation for the Sept releases of the new planners... That is why after the Toy Poodle Sailor & Tokyo TN release, I hope to behave myself...🤣 I would love to go to the SF penshow, it's also local to me but the last 2 yrs, I couldn't go bec of work ( I unfortunately work on the weekends too). I know one day I'll be able to attend one & hope to meet people from the community. And hope also I can ask for tips as to how to prepare for a penshow. 😊🙏

Thank you so much for watching and for your comment! The mindful social media consumption has helped me a lot and I'll probably continue to do the same for a while. Techo kaigi can definitely be an expensive month or two as we all try to settle on what we want to use for next year - such a fun time, but also pricey for my wallet 😂
I hope you'll be able to attend the SF pen show in the future as well! For tips, I highly recommend this Pen Addict post about pen show prep that has some really helpful points: www.penaddict.com/blog/2021/8/6/pen-shows-are-happening-again-now-what I'll probably make a pre-pen show packing type of video and likely a post-pen show video, too, but that'll be a while away - hope you find that blog post as helpful as I did!

Thank you! I was surprised I did so well in the first few months of the year - hopefully I can keep it up moving forward. Social media is a big factor in my spending for sure, so I'm keeping an eye on how much time I spend on it daily.

Thank you, happy to hear it was informative! I still get nervous making real-time chatty videos and had to organize my thoughts beforehand. Appreciate you watching!

I want to have a no spend in may… i love the way you use up al your stickers. I thought i can also do that. And i can shop in my own place, that much stationery i have. Don’t buy the black tokyo cover, your black one is so so special. The Tokyo one, everyone got them in a few weeks and then it is not so special anymore. I have to stop with instagram because that triggers me to buy. But that is a hard one. We will see. Maybe you will do a video within three months again of your progress. Seems nice to me. I can tell you my struggle then.😅 thanks for the video.❤

I love shopping my own stash! Just going through my stationery cart, I'll inevitably find items I forgot about and they feel new again. I'm enjoying all of the unboxing videos of the Tokyo Edition cover from other people in the community, but will hold back on purchasing the cover myself 😊 I'll definitely make another video with an update in the next few months! Thank you for watching.

I started loosely keeping track of my stationery spending a few years ago and realized it really spikes starting with August (new planner releases/pre-orders start + SF pen show at the end of the month). 😅 Thanks for watching!
