To all the people saying he is a terrible wrestler remember that on of if not the only important attribute that matters in pro wrestling is the ability to get over. This is being over, some of the best athletes in pro wrestling aren't worth shit if they can get the audience to care about them plain and simple.

Sandman wasn't great but he could do what he did and was incredibly over with the ECW fans and you can't ever take that away from him.

Grado is an absolute legend! Went to an ICW show in Summer of 22 every other wrestler got a mixed reception and a few got total boos. His music hits everyone starts clapping and the cheer was unbelievable everyone in the audience was standing for him too. It was a great experience. Due to a great wrestler entering.

96% of Indy crowds are better than WWE crowds. In the Indies the wrestlers seem to have more passion so the more passioniate wrestlers equals more passionate fans
1000% It seems like any organization other than WWE is more fun. Aside from NXT, WWE has become a toilet where wrestler's go to drowned. You have to stick their horrible scripts and if you bomb because of it they blame you and if you manage to get over on your own they squash you! I don't understand why, but WWE seems to literally hate the fans. Daniel Bryan seems to be the last wrestler that ever got anywhere because the fans cheered him. After that, WWE murders anyone the fans choose. 😓

I'd barely watched any ICW at the point this originally happened but for reasons that escape me in 2022, I went on a bit of a Grado binge around this time. Saw his title win and various other stuff up to his return here.
The atmosphere created made me care about Grado as if I'd followed his whole career.

Love the Grado pop. Shame he could never really apply himself on Indies in US clear the way he gets over could have potentially gone far in US if he really dedicated himself. Saw him on Impact reality show and his weakness was he couldn’t be bothered with training, was late was bound to himself sadly. Came across as lack of respect for the business which is probably why he has always stayed down at the bottom, if you wanna get to the top you need to work to get there! Don’t have to be the best wrestler but show the dedication outside as well as in!

Music aside, original peak era Triple H branded NXT, would have been even better for him than AEW I reckon.
He would have been a few years younger to start with, he'd have been given a decent amount of freedom to do stuff and I reckon he'd have been a fun part of that roster.
In AEW he'd probably be relegated to UA-cam before too long, unless Tony started to take a personal interest in him and his only hope in main roster WWE would be if he tickled Vince in the same way that Santino Marella seemed to catch on with Vince and got a good run out of it.
