Dak is one of the best combinations of play on the field and leadership that we have in the league at the QB position. It's part of the reason why imo he's been a Walter Payton Man of the Year candidate multiple times

His career and game have been totally versatile.. even when his offensive weapons were removed, Cooper Zeke etc..He was and is the Cowboys 🤠 true mainstay. Keeping the Cowboys relevant and even in the playoffs..We as Cowboys fans have become spoiled..to the point 👉 that we don't realize how many other teams miss the playoffs 👈..so many other teams would love to have our problems..😅😅😅

I'll reserve judgment until I see an offense that can run the ball consistently and a defence that can do likewise when it comes to stopping the run. How much more lethal would Prescott and this offense be if he wasn't constantly in 3rd and long?

Dak doesn't have to worry about what he's going to get paid. He has representation for that. If Dak is willing to take $40M AAV, do you think Todd France is going to let that go through? Dak's representation is going to overvalue Dak's contributions to the team, and the Front Office is going to minimize those saem contributions. If Dak signs for $53-56M AAV, I'd be happy with that. If he gets a max contract, then that's going to have a ripple effect across the team. As much as I think Stephen Jones is in over his head, I fully agree that there is only so much pie. The more one guy takes, the less there is for the rest of the team.

Dak will be QB1 for the next 8 to 10 years as long as he doesn't suffer a career ending injury. So, Lance would probably not be around nor may never get a starting qb opportunity elsewhere.
