  • I loved working on this very important video because I think I touched upon some topics that we tend to avoid - as always, these reminders are for myself first. I hope you girls enjoy it!

    I completely agree. Do not come after other Muslim girls! I am a new revert and I am fully ready to have someone judge me, talk about me, or even come up to me due to not wearing my hijab. I'm not allowed to in my household. Allah understands our struggles. You never know what people are going through!

    I love how you mention Quran and sunnah to legitimize your points except for the first point which sounded more like a personal take. As beautiful as the intention behind not talking about one's appearance, I do not recall any scripture that forbids discussing beauty or displaying the body within boundaries.

    I really admire the values of Islam for women and character in general; I wish I could be as good hearted as this. I have difficulties with faith from growing up in the west, but Islams message has always been comforting but unfortunately I have a lot of obstructions. I wish I could comprehend and understand this reality, it seems the most sensical to me, but I just cannot seem to step into it. This video was really wonderful and I’d love to emulate this.if Allah wills, Walaikum as Salam

      Sister, what are your obstructions and what draws you to Islam?

    • @babiberri
      @babiberri 3 місяці тому +2

      @@qtipqwl my obstructions are my environment and my own mental weaknesses. I suffer a lot with processing reality and realising I am LIVING. I can’t even comprehend what any of this is. Islam makes the MOST sense and I admire the lifestyle, as a woman, because modesty is so much more comfortable. Islam makes sense to me as well as God, but I just cannot comprehend any of this reality. It’s like I am completely unaware but also in agreement it is truth. Aaah!

      @@babiberriWhat specifically about your environment? You don't have to answer that. Some environmental aspects can change, others can't be changed so easily. I want equilibrium and peace for you.

      @@jewelweed6880 well, I live in west. And my family made me bin all my Islamic books. Said I was lost, dead, gone to them. So I’m thinking of giving up. With my derealisation and environmental issues, can’t believe k thought I’d be someone. Ever. lol. Had to send Quran away. Friends remind me about my past a lot. I see old memories in people and places I’d rather forget. I know loneliness is a good thing, but I am alone with no community.

      @@babiberri, You don't need to be a perfect Muslim from day one, it's a life journey. The hereafter is real and is more beautiful than beauty itself for those who genuinely tried their best and this life is always shorter than we think and want. All you need to become Muslim is to firstly believe in Allah and that his final Messenger is indeed prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Don't let the devil confuse you about reality if you already know what is true. May Allah guide you to Islam.

    May I ask what's wrong with showing hair to men? Are you worried all men are instantly going to fall in love and chase you? And, what if your female friend likes women? Is it still ok to show her your hair? Just curious.

    • @Lola0495
      @Lola0495 3 місяці тому

      Yes it is ok to show your hair to female friend but Lgbtq is haram you need to tell the female friend you cannot date her or marry her since Lgbtq is haram and also dating is haram but marriage is halal the problem showing hair to men is that the hijab on you provides protection but showing your hair to some men you don't know at all that is completely haram but Muslim women's can show their hair to their Dad,Brother, female cousin, Aunt's, Grandma and also female friends but its haram a women to be friends with men this is because if a Muslim woman or men are friends with each other they may do zina but tho it's haram for a men or woman to touch a woman or men that he/she Doesn't know and but it's haram if you don't know someone and their are a woman and if you're a man but if the mehram woman and mehram men touch each other even shaking hands is haram but it's not haram if it's your husband or dad or brother

      @@Lulu-xl5cmHey sister🩷🩷, ik you might feel discouraged about it but…. Never Say Never. Knowledge is power and with knowledge that is a fundamental key comes change if you are willing to utilize it. Allah finds you when you’re lost and then he guides you❤❤. Don’t ever belittle yourself and think you can never be this or that! It all takes courage, patience, reevaluating your thought processes, and saying no to peer pressure. Recognizing that you’re surely not alone in this journey first and foremost, Allah is Al Wahīd in a Muslim journey. Also you’re technically not alone because there are so many Muslimahs going through the same thing feeling like they can never be too disciplined. Don’t worry I literally didn’t become this practicing until my 2nd semester in community college. I felt just like you until something clicked into me. Now literally after just a year I’m not saying I’m so close to knowing everything abt my deen but shoot I know just about much of basic minimum and being EAGER when it comes to learning.

    Say harsh haram police.
    Also do you have the page number Said al kudri said prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him wouldn't name others with habits he disliked and would say why do ppl do do & so?
    Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him would teI a girI seeking nika don't mary so & so he carries a stick or don't mary so & so he is poor, so at times you can reveal names and issues but there has to be a need.

      Look at other times when someone needs a correction about something that isn't Islam, or between people that aren't Muslim. The way it is approached is important. If they do it in a manner that feels loving and they have taken a minute to understand that person before just starting in, it hits different. Now, taking it back to Islam and between Muslims. If they advice correctly, it isn't being "haram police" and it won't feel like. If they deliver it in a sort of "sandwich" with...bread of uplifting positivity, that helps. Not just starting in oh sister wrong wrong wrong, but start with saying positive things about them, deliver the message, them more positive words.

      Point is I think haram police is an actual term with good meaning in the Sira like the sahabas had so it's not good to mock it. Thanks for the concern.
