I dupe them. If you drop the item and bind your scrollwheel to pick up, when to scroll to pick items up in such a short period of time it duplicates the item. It is used in almost all speedrunning catagories for this game.
The bottom floor? I will check it out, probably won't do another run of this any time soon but I can add it when I do. Also if there is anymore I'm missing please let me know.
It just means that I get every available skill points (that we know of) through the entire game without using cheats like noclip ect, So that means we don't need to finish side quest if it isn't needed. But to my knowledge there is not enough skill points throughout the game to master every skill, but there is ways to dupe skill points to allow you to actually achieve that.
thanks for the video, I always did want all the skill points... surprised that this has such a tiny amount of views. Shame you used bug abuses just like every single speedrunner, but I'll just count this video as a ''tutorial to get all skill points'' instead
But it would be slower without glitches. Now it would be a Slowrun lol If you are interested in glitchless speedruns though, there is a particularly magical one, look up "Deus Ex No Item Glitchless" on UA-cam Edit: or the Deus ex ultimate speedrun which is practically glitchless too. Glitchless speedruns are cool, but regular speedruns are purely for speed, all other things don't matter.
@@Anzuo no glitches should be the default. Glitches are cheating. It's against the rules of the game. Are you saying the devs intentionally made duping allowed? If they would work on the game to this day, they'd fix the bug. But then you have speedruns like fallout something where "oh we're playing an older patch of the game because the new one fixed the bug" WELL GEE DOESN'T THAT SOUND LIKE YOU SHOULDN'T BE DOING IT THEN??? I mean what if there was a big where you could walk through a wall at the start of the game and finish it. That's so retarded. What if you had a bike race, a big giant oval shape, then some smartass decides to skip the checkpoints. I mean... people in the speedrun community are like flat earthers. Complete and utter idiots that you cannot argue with and I'm wasting my time.
@@llVIU it's funny because you are coming off as someone who can't be argued with. If the entire speedrunning community are utter idiots then maybe you should leave. Better yet, it's time to ask if it is everyone else who is wrong, or maybe is it just you? There are good reasons glitches are the default. In many games it is very difficult to determine if particular things should be classed as a glitch or not. Often glitchless runs are burdened with pages and pages of rules like "jumping is allowed, but not during a crouch roll with left movement as that causes the character to move sideways slightly which can allow clipping into terrain". This is opposed to the default rules of "if you can do it with the original game, it's allowed, use whatever version you like". Notice that makes much more sense to be default, without pages and pages of rules. The idea of using old versions isn't always true. GTA 5 uses version 27, which is better than the previous as it has no waves which slow boats down. Would you then tell me that anyone using the latest version when it first came out was cheating any time they were in a boat because the developers introduced a glitch that literally couldn't be avoided?
it's ridiculous trying to struggle with cheats like 34:00 ... just use the proper game cheats. Bug abuse or game code cheats, same shit. Just get on with it.

Alex: If you wanna make a covert approach...
Thank you for making this. Very fun to watch!
1:17 “Wuh-oh” as you shoot directly at his face while running at him
Works also great as a walkthrough! My obsessive-compulsive brain wouldn't have been able to finish the game without your speedrun.
your cell escape takes longer than just wait for dedalus xD
What's with the lockpicks? At 6:50 How you have so many suddenly?

@@sympy7682 Thanks for the fastest reply ever. You are after all a speedrunner. Wow. Thanks again. Amazing run.
double Anna Navarre? You killed her in the jet, and then she is alive in the prison (where you grenade clipped)
It happens when I use the glitchy save at the start of the map. The glitchy save puts the map in a default status which includes Anna iirc.
... but there are lots of skill points missing. The floor in Alex Jacobson's office?

Sympy thanks
why do you duplicate chocolate?
I think I use it for the dead man walking glitch and for one of the skillpoints you have to get requires to give a child some candy
Cool, Thanks.

Dude "speedrun" is in the title. Did you expect a casual bugless playthrough?
@@Anzuo yes. A speedrun as the title imples. Not a glitch abuse run.
