@@sarondiesel588 hi! She didn’t really have a choice! The way the phones are made you have to hook them up the receiver end (the speaker) to make it a microphone. My husband made mine so I had him do the extra work to wire it in the bottom. Unfortunately when you order them online from other people they rarely ever rewire them through the bottom cause that’s a pain. But the phone is technically the “right” way ☺️

If you’re talking about the one that’s upside down it’s not their fault!! 😂😂😂 I put my receiver in the bottom so it would look normal but to make it work like a mic you need to wire it in at the speaker so unfortunately it sticks out the top, and that’s just where the person who made hers decided to keep it 😅
Lol not her fault! It’s the way the person who made it wired her phone 😅 To turn an old phone into a mic you need to use the receiver. Since Josh made mine I asked him to rewire it to the bottom (which is kind of a pain lol), she ordered hers from a Etsy seller so they probably didn’t put much thought into it being used for an ASMR roleplay video 😅
@@EternalLoveAnkh Possibly, but I think its also likely whoever made that phone set it up that way on purpose. I mean if you're using the phone as they did here in this video, then sure it would be better to put the mic at the other end. But if you were going to use the phone as a mic, like in this video: ua-cam.com/video/v6MB5esh0tQ/v-deo.html, then it makes sense to just have the cord run out away from the mic end. And its possible the person that made this phone made it with that use case in mind.
