    Good thing about Pxtoys is that they just updated spare parts for 9300 series. You can find metal driveshaft at AliExpress the part number is px9300-07a.

      Maciej Śmierzewski yes! Thanks Maciej for adding that and the part number. Is this an upgrade you have done? I believe they also have a metal Differential upgrade for these as well. Thanks for watching my friend!

      @@BangForYourBuckRc But wait there's more! There's a brand new brushless ESC Px9300-42 and brushless motor px9300-43. New version of Pxtoys 9300 rebranded as Deerc 300E. It's very fresh. Not older than few weeks. This week UA-camr 413rc gonna make video with speed test, he made unboxing video last week. I'm hunting on pxtoys 9301 rebranded as Volantex speed pioneer. They show up sometimes for 25$ brand new here in Poland. There's a rain of cheap parts for them like chassis, suspension parts and differential for 50cents.

    I just purchased this exact same RC car a couple weeks ago to give to my 12 year old son for Christmas. Not gonna lie, the anticipation has been killing me, not only to see the excitement on his face when he opened it, but also because I've been looking forward to playing with it myself!🤣🤣 I guess I'm just a big ass kid, haha!!
    I had a couple RC cars growing up, but they were pretty much junk. I think they were Tyco brand?? I dunno it's been over 30 years so it's a little foggy. I was just scrolling through Amazon, looking for something else to get my oldest son, something to get him outside a little more. Like many kids these days, he loves his game systems and tablet, phone, etc. and hey I get it, if we had that kinda stuff when I was a kid I probably would have been hooked on them too.
    Anyways I just happened to see this RC car, didn't know anything at all about it, and honestly if I read the specs I wouldn't know if they were good or not. I just thought it looked really cool, the reviews seemed to be pretty favorable, and I think it was like $65 so price seemed reasonable if it ended up being as good as the reviews made it out to sound. So he opened it this morning, seemed to be hally when he opened it but not overly excited. He's never had any kind of RC vehicle so I guess he really didn't know what to think.
    While he was playing with some of his other items I decided to unbox it, try to charge the battery and get it ready. First off the instructions that were included didn't do a very good job of explaining what to do as far as the charging process goes. I'm still confused whether I need to plug the included cable up to the RC battery and THEN plug it into a wall cube, or if I need to first plug the cable up to the wall cube and then plug it to the RC battery. It may not even make a bit of difference but the instructions try to explain that one has to be done before the other, but the way its worded, I haven't a clue what they were trying to say.
    Instead of immediately charging the battery, I decide to try to power it on, see if it had any charge straight out the box, and after I flipped the switch and put the batteries in the remote, the wheels started spinning, so figured I'd just play with it until it started to die. Maybe it's from lack of having any experience with any decent RC cars, but I was actually pretty impressed with it after trying it out for a few minutes. My son came outside shortly thereafter and I passed him the remote. After a few minutes with it, seemed like he had the hang of it. Looked to me like he was really enjoying it......started off driving it through the back yard grass and ended up in the front, driving it down my sidewalk, jumping it over fallen tree limbs. Seems to be fairly well built.......flipped it a few times and didn't seem to faze it. I'm sure there's better RC's out there, but for under $75 I think this was well worth the money.
    Love your video, you gave a pretty good in depth review of it. I see in the comments that some have said that certain parts can be upgraded, like the motor. Where do I need to look if I want to put a few upgrades on it? Definitely wanna look into a brushless motor at the very least.

      Wow! First off , Merry Christmas to you and your family! Very excited for you and your son , because your gut instinct was right! This is a great first “real” Rc car for either of you! I had a couple of tycos too when I was in my teens and loved those too! This Enoze is way more hobby grade than those were. When you started the car and the wheels were already spinning, that tells me that your throttle dual rate is out of adjustment just a tad. The wheels should not be turning when you turn on the unit, they should be still. So you have this dial or knob on your controller that will either say “TH dual rate” and or “TH Trim”. If your controller says “Throttle D/R” than back that dial or knob up till the wheels stop turning. Make sure you do this incrementally. If your controller only has “ST Trim” and “Throttle Trim “ for adjustments on the controller than do this adjustment to “TH trim”.
      Now a warning: These are not very splash resistant. If the esc, servo, or receiver get wet or splashed , the car may shut down on you or start doing all kinds of funky things!😜 As far as upgrades go, just type in your Amazon search bar,”brushless combo system for 1/18 rc trucks”. The search bar will bring you to an array of choices. That fit 1/18 size models. I wouldn’t get a system higher than 4000kv. Esc amperage should be at least 25amps.Two more purchases to tie it all in! Now you need a 3 wire mini or micro servo ,and a 2-4 channel receiver, controller combo. Once you have all this, you need to start swapping out the old parts for new parts! Refer to UA-cam for installation video, as there are so many out there. You will need a precision screw driver kit, 3m 2-sided tape, maybe a soldering iron , wire strippers, needle nose pliers, and some small wire shrink tubing it might seem a little overwhelming , but it’s not that bad if you study the video tutorial a few times. Also as another option , I believe Enoze sells a brushless version of this same truck for under $100. : )
      Well I hope this helps! I’m so happy you got him in the hobby! It’s awesome and can teach both of you so much! There are forums and UA-cam for help support everywhere! Hopefully I started you in the right direction and haven’t scared you away! It’s an amazing hobby for a parent to share with their kiddos!!! Well that it for now, sorry to be so long winded! Good luck with the new enoze!🤙🏽👊🏼🤩

      @@BangForYourBuckRc I truly appreciate your well thought out reply. Honestly I didn't think anything of it when I bought it for him. Just wanted something that wasn't complete junk like a Walgreens special. I do think it's an excellent entry level RC as far as from a hobby perspective, being able to upgrade parts, etc. I definitely want to do a few upgrades, namely a brushless motor. Did a little searching and it looks like the brushless kit from the manufacturer is $65......a little more pricey than I was thinking. I've seen some on Ebay for $40-50 but I didn't know if I had to buy one that's the same brand for it to be compatible or if any brushless motor for a 1/18 scale would work. Definitely want something that'll go right in and work. Any recommendations as far as where to buy one, what brand, etc.? I can always just buy the Enoze one, because I know it will hook right up. I'll have to watch some videos on the installation procedure, can't say I've done a ton of soldering but I'm sure I may know someone who would assist in this. Thank you again for taking the time to help out a novice because I haven't a clue what I'm doing lol. I can definitely sense this may be something I really find myself getting into. I've already been pricing some other bigger name brands like Traxxas and Arrmas to see about purchasing something a little more next level. Really am wanting something more geared towards climbing/scaling rather than solely top end and speed, although I do want something that has some speed to it.Want something built pretty tough but not quite ready to drop a couple paychecks on an RC yet til I know I'm ready

      @@crimsontide1980I totally get it. I never have and may never drop a paycheck on an Rc anything. What do I do when I still want something good? I get to know what’s out there that will serve my purpose best! My channels not called”Bang For Your Buck “ For nothing😜 Although I still follow the high end stuff like Arrma, Traxxas, axial and such , I still won’t buy them unless it’s an exceptional deal. Then I gravitate to the really good off brands, like Wltoys, Haiboxing, xinglehong , Amazon’s Leageondary and Bezgar Brands, who have actually quite a good reputation for not only building tough Rc’s, but also have a pretty good customer Service and part support! Redcat is another really good brand thats really good and right there with the “Big 3 or 4” yet they don’t quite cost so gosh darn much! But hey,Some people have it to spend or would rather just have one or a couple really good Rc in there garage. Either way it’s ok. A really good “do it all budget banger” is this one I’m linking to you right here:
      [US$208.99 17% OFF]WLtoys 10428 1/10 2.4G 4WD RC Truck Crawler RC Car Two Battery RC Vehicles from Toys Hobbies and Robot on banggood banggood.onelink.me/zMT7/973a05ae
      It’s pretty dang sweet for the money and can do it all! 1/10 budget Bashing at its finest. And you can crawl with it! They also have it in a 1/12 scale too! It’s a great place to start without breaking the bank! At least if you decided you didn’t like it, your not out 2-3’s as much!
      As far as brushless kits go for 1/18 scale like the Enoze you have, there are so many good ones! On eBay and Amazon. The set up from Enoze you saw is a good one too. I’ll link you some other examples: BOIU Brushless Upgrade Kit Motor ESC Receiver Remote Controller Servo Set for 144001 A959-B A979-B RC Car Spare Parts www.amazon.com/dp/B09BN1LZGV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_CD4D635AV37S0WJ15XXC?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
      This has everything you need for a complete upgrade. Here is another good one, but you would still have to buy a receiver and transmitter something like this: FlySky FS-GT2 2.4GHz 2 Channel Digital Transmitter and Receiver Radio System www.amazon.com/dp/B00KHLDCX4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_PFQNFCBHSX1QH5BJSB9Q
      Let me know if you have any other questions! Welcome to the hobby too!
      It doesn’t have to be crazy expensive to get into it with quality , and yet budget in mind. Good luck my friend!👍🏻🤙🏽👊🏼

    At 13:43 there is audio from the range test, and there was audio talking about the water, before you went through it, other than that, great video! keep it up

Great catch though! What would I do with out you! I already deleted original video to save space on my phone so I can’t go back and re-edit. “It is what it is”😝

    Pretty nice truggy/buggy, how fast would you say it is? I don´t believe the advertised 40km/h is true...

    • @BangForYourBuckRc
      @BangForYourBuckRc  4 роки тому +1

      Fannar Bergsson thanks for watching! I know what you mean. A lot of these Rc companies advertise speed claims, that are not true with the gearing and batteries they give you. I believe it would do the speeds they claim if you purchase their upgrades;(metal gears, brushless, motors, different gearing and such). They are wrong to print these claims on the box and advertise it as “true”. As for this vehicle, as it comes, I would say 15-17mph is more reasonable. For this size car, it is still loads of fun, and ready for some upgrades if it’s not enough. Why these rc car makers can’t tell the truth is beyond me. I think they would sell more if they didn’t deceive people. Even though it is not as fast as they claim I still recommend it. It offers way more than any non proportional cars that newbright has at the big box stores, with better speed and power!

    should I buy this model? reliable?

    • @BangForYourBuckRc
      @BangForYourBuckRc  4 роки тому +1

      Yes. In my opinion it’s a very reliable little truck so far. It’s not as fast as some other models, but it makes good torque, has good traction and ground clearance. It’s definitely fun and undeniably good looking. Also upgradable! They now sell brushless versions of them!
