Film and Theatre Styles (2) - Ryan and Colin are mending a roof, in the styles of surrealist, kung fu, Shakespeare, and B movie.
World's Worst - All four act out the world's worst person to defend you in court.
Helping Hands - Mike is dueling Ryan (hands provided by Colin).
This is Ryan and Colin's first episode together. 3:44 is kind of heartwarming.
The beginning of a duo that had brought me more joy than anyone else I can honestly say.

It's only Colin's second time on the show but it looks like he got a lot of support from his castmates. He and Ryan seem to click right away.
Although that guy behind Clive was a complete dork, I don't really blame him for wanting to watch Colin and Ryan act out a porn scene.

It's so weird to think of how much they've been through since this first hand shake. o_O Legendary.
They actually knew each other beforehand, and had it not been for Ryan fighting to have Colin on this particular episode then he may never have become such a fan favourite; the producers of WLIIA back in the early 90s weren't impressed with Colin's first appearance on the show during series 3, and very nearly didn't invite him back, but Ryan Stiles pleaded with them to give him another chance, and thank god he did because Colin didn't half prove all of them wrong!
I love Mike's handkerchief.
Yay, Ryan and Colin's first time together! I loved the Film and Theatre Styles they did; you could tell they had amazing chemistry very early on. This whole lineup is great actually, Mike and Josie are fantastic improvisers as well, especially at the singing games. Oh, and I like Mike's Mickey Mouse handkerchief. :)

It’s amazing how well they work together. I’m assuming they worked with each other in the past since they were both from LA. I believe this episode is from 1990-1991. Nonetheless, almost 30 years later and he’s still doing it. Was lucky to meet him in person after a show he did with Brad Sherwood too

This is such an early version of who’s line. So weird to watch this and to see the different format of the show. Does show you how much more laid back and relaxed and fun the one is that drew hosted. Drew makes it so much more fun and they’re so much more comfortable together. Much better show.
Yeah, it was the start of about 15 years of working together. I love how they shake hands at the begining

I've been watching through the first episodes and this is their first time together!
I have to give lots of props to the other actors who got the show started, too. It must have been difficult to be the very first people to appear on the show.

At 7:48 when Colin first "thrusts his hands through the armpits of Ryan" Ryan is kinda like 'oh that feels nice I could get used to this- oh. Snap out of it and smile' lol.
And vice versa. Many Brits find American sitcoms to be awful for example (with certain exceptions like Seinfeld).

B-movie is usually short for "bad movies" I believe. Mystery Science Theatre made fun of them for a long time.
