Hololive does have in community mods now. At the very least from the EN side, I've seen a few streamer mod interactions. Hololive mods have to sign a contract tho, they filter their mods carefully. Also their mods very rarely chat on stream so you dont really see them out and about. Its more common to see a manager using the talent account to chat than it is to see a mod

A number of the most recent mods that were added are long time watchers that were already active on her discord, so it's not surprising of the parasocial allegations here.

Filian definitely believes in the goodness of her mods (possibly too much so, who knows? I personally am more of a clip watcher so I'm not in danger of getting banned), but more than that she even MORE definitely has an issue with being complimented that's patently obvious to anyone who watches her content. If anyone gives her positive attention beyond a surface level "I think you're cool" she retracts and basically doesn't know how to react.

I'm gonna be real, I completely agree with shondos takes. I've watched filian for 2 years and I have seen people get banned for complimenting filian and or saying positive things about filian. I think it is concerning that the mods ban anyone saying nice things about filian. I also understand that filian has her own boundaries when it comes to chatters being weird but most of the time it just isn't being weird it's just being nice in a non toxic or para-social way. My impression of Filian was previously "she's just a little silly hyperactive gal" but now it's gone way past silly. She's entertaining, sure, while her sense of humor is not exactly my cup of tea she does liven up the room, and she always hangs out with a bunch of cool friends, so she's usually pretty fun to watch. But smart... she isn't.

Shondo took the opportunity to turn it into more content, and Filian played along with it. Like every other bit of improv done by her or any other streamer. Filian "being defensive" is just part of the entertainment. Yeah, sure, she's probably a little annoyed, but that's the same as with the flat, short, and furry jokes.

Filian definitely believes in the goodness of her mods (possibly too much so, who knows? I personally am more of a clip watcher so I'm not in danger of getting banned), but more than that she even MORE definitely has an issue with being complimented that's patently obvious to anyone who watches her content. If anyone gives her positive attention beyond a surface level "I think you're cool" she retracts and basically doesn't know how to react.

I'm gonna be real, I completely agree with shondos takes. I've watched filian for 2 years and I have seen people get banned for complimenting filian and or saying positive things about filian. I think it is concerning that the mods ban anyone saying nice things about filian. I also understand that filian has her own boundaries when it comes to chatters being weird but most of the time it just isn't being weird it's just being nice in a non toxic or para-social way. I am starting to believe myself that the para-social ones in filians chat ARE the mods. Look at it this way, the mods have a direct way of talking to filian 1 on 1. That isn't super bad on itself but paired with the mods banning people that are nice to filian it really is undeniably weird and para-social.
