      Never knew of the game until it happened to be on for hours on end when I was recovering from a prolonged hangover. Perfect thing to watch in that situation; mostly it's quiet with a little bit of soft talking in between shots. Eventually I picked up on the rules and got hooked on it. That was 20 years ago. Even back then there was this one guy who seemed to be something of a snooker-God, and indeed it turned out to be Ronnie. Been following his career ever since.

    Very cool series this looks like it will be, just wish you'd kept the original 4:3 aspect ratio, rather than zooming in for widescreen..... Hope you'll consider not doing that for the videos you're still working on? In other news, what an utter genius!!!!

    Hendry dominated the 90s no doubt playing in a poor era with his main rival a pissed up Jimmy White i doubt he cud of achieved wot he did against players like season professionals such as Higgins Williams Selby robbo ding trump Carter Hawkins dott Murphy Perry let alone this man in his prime🤔 this is why this man is the greatest ever to play the game he kept all them greats at bay entertaining us for decades keeping snooker afloat in the most competitive era ever keeping sponsors happy and viewing figures up all on his own terms never been a slave to the game or politically perfect..... His aura and presence is unique nobody like him everything he does makes headlines his longevity is legendary he took the game to a new level with record viewing figures from a new audience winning 19 majors 36 ranking titles the most premier leagues the most centuries and 147s 3 champ of champs 3 shanghai masters in a row the achievements are endless and he's still playing....... He lost 9 years of his career to partying which I say he regrets now but also makes his achievements much more special imo..... he's basically a part time player now pundit and the only snooker player in history who is a brand🙏our snooker genius 😇

    Why is it constantly said Ronnie makes his maximum in 5min 20 when its clearly 5min 8 secs.

      Idk. Perhaps a combination of the following:
      - some people better remember round figures
      - many of the videos of the 147 available on UA-cam are 6:20 long

      @@MetteC5 both wrong. It's because originally it was from the white stopped moving and ronnie addressed the table. Later it was requalified as when he struck the cue ball was when the timer officially started. Making the 12 seconds 'downtime' disappear. It was classed as 5m 20s for a long time but has now been amended. In one respect you are right because a lot of people, commentators included still get caught out and quote the 5m 20s time....

    i find it hilarious that WST themselves cant even get proper picture quality from 2003 maxie from bbc themselves.. Have they really not backed it up? I think its the only million-watched sport that cant show 480p classic clips properly. Well aware that most HD started around 2009 ish, but still... a clean 480p ... wow. still amazing break.
