Media is but a reflection of our group consciousness, and it is time now for the facts of life after death to enter our consciousness and expand there. Hence, I loved the new pilot for this show and look forward to seeing how it's going to develop. Jennifer Beals is as lovely as ever, one simply never tires of looking at her. & How wonderful is the story behind the scenes that Jennifer Beals was the last person to try out for this role, with the fantastic Kyra Sedgwick Directing. Good work TNT, the whole cast is great. Try not to spoil the story with dysfunction just to add tension. The subject matter alone is dramatic and should inspire greater inquiry.
I actually thought this was going to be good until they brought the whole 'knowing what's going to happen after death' thing.

This show does perfectly what only a few before it have done, as such It should do ok.
It fools people into thinking that they're intelligent for being interested in it. In actual fact it's closer to the usual tripe aimed at the lowest common denominator we've been seeing for years, A step above reality programming but only barely. It will hook people because of the way it's presented. Still all perfectly spelled out for you...because were all idiots that need our hands held but they will hide it well enough to have the fans of it think they're above average or " different" ( as evidenced in some of the comments below amusingly ) just for being fans of the show and " getting it".
