Oh Barbari bread is one of traditional breads of my country of origin. The best is to toast it which how you doing it is pretty good too. Some people love it when it gets extra crispy. You should try these too combo spreads on it, 1: butter and honey( or your favorite jam, 2: feta cheese and fresh herbs( ex. Tarragon, basil, chives, radishes, cilantro ........) you will looooooooove it. And of course accompanied by a cup of hot tea ;0)
+Exotic Being Feta cheese and fresh herbs sounds GREAT! Ariel thought that hummus dip and Zaatar will be great with this bread as well. This is the first time I have tried Barbari bread and we all LOOOOOOOVED it!
+Exotic Being We know but we give him gluten strategically in order him not to go crazy when we are not around. He dose not have bad allergy though. Thank you for your concern :)
