    I was in industry for about 8 years. I went into tax about 4 years ago at 65k. Recently, looked at going to another firm. Very few would pay more than 95k for senior staff, most mid 80s. I got a call from an IT recruiter for ERP implementation, I'm starting at the entry level above 100k. Way better work life balance and better pay to boot.

    Some of these kids are shortsighted the experience you get in three years you can charge it into good money down the road you don’t have to stay with those firms, but I do think that the firms are cheap and they need to change their model
