Radiofrequency Ablation of a Kidney Tumor
Вставка

- Studies of patients with kidney cancer have shown that radiofrequency ablation, a minimally invasive, kidney-sparing procedure, can be a successful treatment option for patients whose cancer has not spread beyond the kidney.
The treatment uses computed tomography for guidance during percutaneous placement of a needle-shaped electrode into the tumor. Radiofrequency current is then passed through the electrode to heat the tumor tissue and ablate -- or eliminate -- it.
In the majority of patients complete tumor ablation can be achieved after a single treatment; others achieved complete tumor ablation after two or more treatments, with no long-term or serious complications.

Thank you for showing this i have to get this done in the next three weeks
Great video, was very helpful.Thank you! Had Cryoablation kidney surgery back in November of 2020,wasn't successful. So I'm scheduled to have Micro Ablation surgery this month.
Why did they let this patient be awake and move so much? She was obviously uncomfortable.
Are there any reliable temperature and pressure read-outs during this RFA procedure?
Don't do this. My mom had this done on January 12th and was in pain, too. They lie and tell you it doesn't hurt but it clearly does.
I’ve had this done several times with no pain.
Are you dumb, can't you hear her groans. Or you did not bother to watch? @@lloydmcavoy682
Thank you for telling me that
Why are there no comments on this subject ?
Can an itp patient do a renal surgery ??
I wonder if a 4.2x3.4x3.1 cm type III cystic renal mass be suitable for this procedure?
