@@headymitch There's a business insider article from a few years ago about it getting add in the early 1900s because of the pill breaking. Though, it wouldn't surprise me that it's still in some packaging because of the tampering in the 80s.
In the 80’s the cotton was used because people thought if it was not there it was tampered with since pills no longer break easily. It was originally for the purpose of not breaking, but not in the 80’s and after.
