Unrelated but I liked the fact that axis ONLY tells clover the truth about integrity if you destroy the other bots, implying that its completely scared of clover and being destroyed by em' as well, while if you ignore some bots axis wont be scared of you
Real talk, I'm kinda sad that this song cuts off during battles. I hoped it would work like the CORE in regular Undertale where the music just keeps going, but I guess not :(
Absolutely. For genocide especially, this theme would be perfect to play inside battle. The guitar wailing while you're exploding all of the robots and laying waste to the steamworks would send absolute chills. This music would illustrate a point of no return in genocide. I guess the only problem would be that there is no "enemy retreating" theme to signal your progress in the area, but that could easily be put in once you reach that point.
yeah, after 2 runs it gets really sluggish. And the brief cutscenes where Clover automatically goes to the lever is annoying. Hopefully they'll do something about it in future updates?
My favorite part of the genocide route was the steamworks, hunting down axis, drinking the acid and ignoring flowey

Toby's favorite genocide mix
I am kinda dissapointed that steamy vents didn't automaticly turned off on genocide route.

I love this version, it so dipressev, hopeless. I like it motive.
the word's spelled depressive, by the way! :)
Still a bop
the only zone theme that it's still good even in genocide
Snowfall? Vigorous Terrain?

for whatever reason, the first route i played on this game was genocide and thought this was the regular version 😅
I did the same too, I was like "Nah I'd win." And actually almost did first try against the boss. Though Ceroba did piss me off a bit.
@NeonBlueLight Ceroba, just like Undyne the undying, is a though son of a bitch lmao
And both deal a shitload of damage
Beginning reminds me of portal 2. Heck Steamworks as a whole reminds me of aperture science in some way. With all the abandoned offices and all
I thought the EXACT same thing
portal 3 takes place in the steamworks 🤯🤯🤯🤯
the whole song + 2:39 gives me Halls Of Science 4 vibes
if only i wasnt done with that whole business, or wish i wasnt done
