You have to wait for the stars/sparks instead of the bubbles on the bobber. It’s GTD to be an item diamonds or big bag of paws.

When you’re fishing there are 2 animations you can get. Bubbles that come out the side of the bobber (aka the red/white thing at the end of the line) which is the bad option - the other has white stars/sparks shooting out of the top and indicates a good item. I’ve gotten legendary items/1k diamonds/key pieces etc from the stars but never anything above rare/green on bubbles.
