wondered how to make a main menu in roblox studio? or how to create a shop which has working GUI? ive made lots of 2024 roblox scripting tutorials about all the different bits of roblox to give you some up-to-date information about all of its properties and events.
my goal is to simply give some insight on how to use the various features and instances roblox studio, and show you some fun stuff you can do with them. thanks for checking out this roblox scripting tutorial :)

Quick tip for everyone watching, when sizing or positioning a UI element, instead of typing 0,0,0,0 or 0.1,0,0.1,0 when both X and Y axis will be the same, simply type 0 or 0.1, or 0,0; 0.1,0 it will give the same result

another fun and useful tip: if you set the anchor point to 0.5,0.5 and the position to 0.5,0,0.5,0 it will always be centered!

Great video, but you should definitely mention about anchor points in the next video. It’s really useful for making UIs that are in the corner or in the middle of the screen.

Something I think is worth quickly mentioning is the SizeContraint property. It's useful for keeping the shape of an GUI object intact. Like if you want a square button to stay square when it scales to parent size, you can set it to RelativeXX or RelativeYY instead of RelativeXY to make both axis of the button scale to one axis of the parent's size, stopping square shapes from becoming rectangles when re-scaling.

BRO, just use Ctrl D instead of Ctrl C, Shift Ctrl V. It's faster and it essentially duplicates the item, works with parts aswell.
