in memory of my early best friend Andrew Jenson. He'd think its dumb that i make a comment on one of his favorite UA-cam vids in memory of him but maybe he wont now that he's dead. Rip Drew. Im still here dealing with these corporate piggies at work.
+smirch Dude where can I get this ep? I've looked in every best buy and there is none of there cd;s? I would buy all of it and posters from the second one.
@@paradigmshift2223 I gave SNL an honest shot after learning these two guys got on SNL years back. Even skits with them in them aren't funny unfortunately.
One more road, and it comes to a bend. One more road to go, 'cause the road's my only friend. The life of a nomad, gambling his life. One more road to go, and this road is called survive.
I can't get enough of Kyle's videos. He's an amazing character actor, considering he's nothing like Chris at all in real life, yet he seems so real in these videos.
Kyle is a master character artist. he identifies these pseudo-archetypes that are at once fully believable and totally generic. he is incredible to watch
EVERYONE has known at least one Chris in Their life especially if you were a product of the 90s as graduating HS between 97-04 guaranteed you knew this character, Chris. From the Jinco jeans to ultra angst levels to compensate for actually wanting to be popular. It's been genius and I truly hope most of his characters get a legit shot on SNL. Chris would kill if he were allowed to curse on SNL. That or make them the musical guest, lmao. "The life of a nomad...." them lyrics crush haha.
Chris L It may depend on area of the country as we're about the same age and Chris is rocking some Jnco jeans like so many I used to know. Chris, I'd guess, loves System of a Down and The Matrix. He'd dig some 80s metal but only the "old shit...like before Metallica went gay and corporate". I think the grunge scene (hate that term) would be too corporate for him but only after Cobain died. He definitely thinks Donny Darko is the deepest movie ever made, haha. It could be region but we're a year apart and I knew so many of this exact character. I'd guess he loves the line of humans being viruses from the matrix. A kid I knew that looked and acted exactly like Chris used to write that whole line/scene on the back if his school papers haha. Maybe it's a regional thing? I dunno but in all respect, in my region, Chris is a product of the 90s. I'm in the Midwest so could be different?
Chris L Sorry to double post but I forgot to mention he also refers to "bubble gum boy bands" and things that, to me, are clearly late 90s-early 2000s. Plus, Kyle is roughly our age, I think. Not sure but it's not a debate anyway as each person takes what they experience from it. Again, to you and your area it may read more like late 80s-early 90s. Funny regardless.
whiny pussy, him and his boyfriend...he couldnt get a girlfriend and eric couldnt go to the military so they take it out on those that wouldve mattered.
This is simply amazing on every possible level. Kyle might be the most talented editor ever to recreate all the different genres he does. Wicked fucking awesome.
Fuck man. I'm so amped for this EP. It's amazing to see how far chris has come. I remember the myspace page a few years back and "Hello Disappear" beats anything from it.
Everything about this is spot on. This is definitely one of my most appreciated kyle videos. I love how cocky he gets about his band at 2:20 haha, seen that a lot. Also the self consciousness at 3:05 and even in the beginning, the music pairing with his childhood anger. Seriously great :)
kyle is a comedic genius but no one gives dave credit. dave you are an amazing filmer/editing. thats the reason this video is so good because it seems like a legit documentary. is there anyway you can tell me where you got the background music in the beginning and throughout the "interviews"?
I barely laugh at anything, but the part where he was like "YOU ARE THE BLACKNESS YOU ARE THE DARKNESS" I fucking lost it. Thanks kyle and david for another hilarious video
I recently stumbled upon this classic Nirvana interview (watch?v=uWpe0FpT5IQ), and it totally reminded me of this crippled rejex exposed video! So classic... this is one of your best Kyle. :)
One day, kyle will be a legend among the snl cast and he'll gear up to reprise his roll as chris and the cripled rejex will be the snl band that night....
I think it's interesting how different he looks when he does this character. It's more than just not wearing his glasses or having a goatee; it's his facial expressions, too.
All Kyle's characters are perfect renditions of various dudes one would meet in a Southern California high school
Characters?
I used to think I would've liked to have grown up in LA but then I went there
thats literally where he gets his characters
@@SkeezyShadow YEs but typing out the most obvious and blatant shit on youtube is how to get easy upvotes.

You are saying that cause you are a corporate drone
@@johnshears5160 not surprised. All you can find these days is that corporate Julie Diamond bullshit!
Between all of Kyle’s characters I’m really not sure who the real Kyle is.
This dude is too good for SNL. He's a genius.
corporate ass bullshit
You gotta be in cia to get on snl
People on SNL aren't funny, so it's probably good he's not on there. SNL is garbage.
@@paradigmshift2223 I gave SNL an honest shot after learning these two guys got on SNL years back. Even skits with them in them aren't funny unfortunately.
yeah SNL was the complete wrong career path for him
Kyle is too good at playing this character lol
The secret is to feel the character
Know him
Think like him
And let it sink in
oh fuck it's 14 year old me please stop
👍👍

So horrifyingly accurate that it's not funny
👍👍
He is such a good actor.

did kyle make that song?
Chris Fitzpatrick of Crippled Rejex did 3:10
lol thanks bro haha
I actually really like those lyrics lol
someone should do a real version of that song. It would be killer.
This is actually giving me late-90's/early 00's nostalgia.
Yeah, the word, "Napster" really did it for me.
“I wish I was better at making friends and shit” 😂 ... what an emotional rollercoaster Kyle took us on
ONE MORE ROAD / and it comes to a bend / One More Road, the road’s my only friend (“Survive” by TCR) 🤘🏼😩

Why do people need fukking barbie dolls, why can't they listen to truth.

I feel like Jesse from Breaking Bad would've fit in well with this crew.

hello disappear changed my life thx crippled rejex
Ive never bought any music online but I would buy a Crippled Rejex album
This is literally my favorite UA-cam video
Love watching your stuff man! It’s dope you watch this kinda stuff too haha

Kyle's character reminds me of Dylan Klebold in those "basement tapes"
exactly

this made my day
whiny pussy, him and his boyfriend...he couldnt get a girlfriend and eric couldnt go to the military so they take it out on those that wouldve mattered.
What's sad is some kids in school that I knew acted like this character lol.
9 out of ten doctors degree
Their sound is so original. Unlike any other rock band from the late 90’s early 2000’s.
That acoustic song at the end was actually pretty sick
Lol thats what I was thinking, if it was played right it'd be pretty good.
lol its basically danger keep away by slipknot
Lol I thought the same thing.
This one of the most depressing videos I’ve ever seen..... but I love it.
I've watched this 4 minutes of comedy perfection at least 50 times
this is the funniest character ever
agreed
This is simply amazing on every possible level. Kyle might be the most talented editor ever to recreate all the different genres he does. Wicked fucking awesome.
this is scary in a way he reminds me of guys from COLUMBINE SCHOOL MASSACRE in 1999, or WOODSTOCK'99 type of mayhem kids. Either way it so on point.
"there is nothing out there that sounds like this"
The song at the end actually songs kinda cool
its basically danger keep away by slipknot
i feel like there's a lot of the real kyle in this character
anybody have the tabs for that last song im trying to use it for open mic night at applebees this thursday any help is appreciated

Kyle's contrast in characters is so convincing that you'd think he has multiple personality disorder
Corporate piggieees 🎶
yeah, if that acoustic song at the end was played a little better, it would actually be really good.
Agreed lol. Very grungy I love it.
This is hillariously spot on! I hung out with so many Chris's in high school and this just makes me nostalgic!
"Do I need this math? Do I need a fucking Pythagoris Theorem to play my fucking guitar? Tell me that." hahaha
Full on genius this, so subtle, I thought it was real

The most underrated part is the drummer running with his hand in his pocket....this attention to detail is low-key amazing.
The outro song is pretty dope actually. Even if it wasn't perfect. Sounds like something id have on repeat while on DXM in "high"school
Still watching all these videos in 2017 also Brigsby Bear was awesome! Love you guys!
holy fuck this is so amazing. kyle is seriously one of the most talented actors today.

The best video on UA-cam.
Man you guys really put a lot into your skits. Good job mate!
God hes really a great actor man. I would love to see what he could do in a dramatic role or something serious. I bet he would honestly kill it man.
Dylan Anderson so true

Is the acoustic song at the end an actual song or did he just make that shit up for the video? Actually sounds pretty good
He represents every angsty 90's teen ever
I just discovered this. Hysterical

God that acoustic song at the end has been stuck in my head all day.. Im outside doing yardwork singing, "One more road and it comes to a bend." haha

Tim Silva who would go to that link
why this guy act like every prep cook iv ever met
It's so hard to believe that Chris is not a real person
This guy's got young Matthew Mconaughey vibes. I'm especially reminded of his character in Dazed and Confused.
His acting was so good. It actually made me feel a little bit uncomfortable at one point.
It's moving away from comedy into something else that I still love.
this is too adorable for me to handle
Holy shit.. Its like going back to high school in the 90's
I can't stop listening to the song at the end.
I watch this at least once a week.
9/10 doctors degree LOOOOOOOL. This character and film making are PERFECT. David, you are a master film maker.
Those 61 dislikes were corporate america
what's funny is if you actually took these lyrics and produced/performed those songs seriously, they might actually sell lmao
2:58 dat face he sneaks in haunts me
“You are the blackness you are the darkness”😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣 craziest part is that even in 2021 this type of dude still exists in high school I’ve met him
