The restaurants want people to be six feet apart but visitors are less than six feet on the plane to Hawaii!

So glad he doesn't listen. Tourists do not control things....locals do!

Gotta social distance 6ft for restaurants ...so in a sense the capacity cant increase. Outdoor distancing gotta get eased for more capacity if you wanna get more people inside. More people equals more revenue. Less tourists equals less revenue for restaurants. Please tip your servers 20% or more. Support local support restaurants.

Yes, 75% increase but 6 ft distance kills the purpose, decrease space to 3 ft. Unless restaurants put tents in their parking. lots.

If you saw how things were in Japan you would be amazed and wonder why other places don't do the same thing. Tables are separated by plastic dividers. Restaurants are FULL! It's been business as usual in Japan for at least a year, but mask compliance and hand sterilization at the entrances is 100%. Vaccinated or not, Japan is NOT letting people in, i.e. foreigners. Japanese nationals can enter with a 3 day quarantine at a designated hotel followed by monitoring, but freakishly a foreign spouse is not allowed entry.

Or it makes sense to wait until the virus is no longer a thing. If anything he is informed and knows as well as I do that in the future there could be another type of virus that could create a new pandemic. So why not keep people a bit space out indoors? It would also help if all government building where made to have HEPA filter air systems or something like that to Clean the air in large building and other indoor places. If it would help.

Almighty Emperor Ige, RELINQUISH YOUR “EMERGENCY POWERS” and allow the island ohana and business owners to make their own decisions regarding what they think is right. Your constituents are not stupid. We don’t need a daddy dictator! Get off your high horse already! You are not a king!
