Everyone talking cji but if youre training for 2 years under a specific rule set you stay the course. Seems like thats the Danaher way.. Training for specific rule sets and events and sticking to them.

I find it very interesting that many of the best in the world, i.e. previous world champions, all stayed and did ADCC. But in just avout every weight category, the ENTIRE rest of the division, all the top guys 2-4 or 5, did CJI.

1) CJI was invitational, just 32 athletes in all. 2) Just two weight divisions, so no athletes from lower weight division competed. 3) From Craig's posts, it seems that the only one they really wanted to participate but didn't was Mika.

Incorrect!! Kade Routolo was the current (2022) ADCC champion that competed at CGI.
