Thanks for this video. It helped a lot. I was struggling with this Naytiba. As Elbethium said, it's important to read and follow the flow. This did not suffice, however, I still died a lot. Mostly at the black flood that appeared after the light pillars if you don't shoot the floating lights in time. It killed me every time even on story mode. I got angry, got hand cramps and issued a lot of f-words in a wide variety. As Elbethium wrote, the game provokes an emotional response and it is successful at that. Success came, when I focussed on shooting the lights. Now that's important: You can do this even while the light pillars appeared. You have more time to shoot them, don't panic and don't mind the approaching pillars. Shoot the lights. When I realised this, I succeeded.
The whole “don’t panic and don’t get comfortable” is what got me thru it. No grenades or shotgun. It’s doable, but you rly RLY have to learn the fight and dodge like it’s your job. TY for this video and advice!
I beat this boss after an hour and while I hate this boss I also like it because it comes as a testament to your skill when it comes to parrying but I do hate that orb insta kill shit that’s just sooo stupid doesn’t help that the Camera zooms in and she’s still attacking you so you have to be really quick on your feet to move out of the way
Thanks again dude! You helped with Lies of P a lot for me. This game isn’t nearly as difficult but this one got me. I actually learned from another video about crosswave as well because it knocks her down, allowing you to zoom in and get a few hits and repeating, so I mixed the two tactics. Works really well with the Beta spine in case you go into a trance.

i shot the lights a couple time and it must not have been precise enough cause they didnt even have the hitstun glow effects, let alone get destroyed. so helpful, thanks. 'inflict ranged damage to stop instakill attack' was too vague
Yea i made the rookie mistake of trying to finish her off when she had a sliver of HP left. I just tried rushing her and got stung locked with that stupid black wall she summons. That was like 5 days ago…im still here. 😅

Lol, that part at 4:00 about the blink (and surge) not always working is so true. You can interrupt failing it with a beta attack. Anyway, I have been through this fight many times, but there's nothing like doing it on hard mode on the boss challenge. I dreaded this fight at that level and I still am. First, it is a slow fight and you can't be aggressive, she'll just keep hopping back. So another great observation is that it's a reactionary fight. You do pretty much have to go toe to toe to build up your beta. I never even thought of doing something like use the shotgun ammo, but I've been having a hard time with taking down the lights fast enough, so to switch back to slugs may be tough. This fight is really challenging; I learned to nearly master the Raven fight on hard modet, but she's got a lot of moves in this. And trying to beat Providence and Elder on Hard mode? I must be a glutton for punishment, but I beat everything else on hard mode.
How you defend against the black water flood when she floods the whole arena theres no way to stop that and it kills you instantly, i didnt see you fight against that move
Yep. These are “insta-kill” boss moves. When the “!” symbols show up… you’ve got to shoot them ALL before they descend fully to not only SURVIVE, but also STUN the boss for some nice damage. KEY= running TOWARDS the targets to make it easier to shoot (i learned the hard way)
It didn't occur to me, until after beat boss, that shotgun shell very useful. It weird. You struggle against boss you must take down and is really tough, and you no listen to tip that will make the fight a >LOT more manageable. What help a lot is the beta point exospine. And beta point buff gear. This boss force you to put your skill in game together, or you no can pass. I did notice, though, sometime, this boss no replenish own shield AND sometime or once, boss no go up and give you 3 orb to shoot down. I having difficulty with orb and she no make me sight up orbs and shoot them down, I hit Tachy mode and take her down. Sometime. You have to capitalize on luck. I don't know if you have any control over this. If you get close, no be shy about Tachy mode. This a great guide to the fight. If you can listen to the letter to what Elbethium teach, you gonna do a lot better than those, who have own idea about how to defeat Unidentified Naytiba. This fight a bitch. But it cool 'Stellar Blade' force you to get better.
Im getting attack that the boss flies high up, and there are just waves of black stuff everywhere with gold lightning, and I have no idea what to do in that part of fight. Its extremly frustrating, and so far I didnt found a single video of anybody dealing with that attack

I beat her with just a straight up figt she didn't go in the air 3 times she did it just once I shot down the 3 lights after that we 2as just going head to head . An I won with out her going back up to do the unblocked kill

I spent hours trying to clear this stage but still cannot. Because I really cannot shoot down the 3 balls. Any tips? The good thing is after playing this stage so much that I have become really good in combat with this boss. I can cause huge damage on it without getting any damage on myself, using normal slashing, burst and beta. Did not even need to use gun or Tachy. And then I still died because I cannot shoot down the three balls. It is so hard to aim with the thumbstick.
Im in the exact same situation. In this video he cut out right up until the three orbs are there, but for me there is a massive volley of projectiles coming at me. I can't get the aim and shoot all three before having to dodge for 5 to 8 seconds. By that point it's instakill
@@MarcM143 I finally did manage to clear this boss and moved on to complete the game. It is always good to take a break and come back the next day to try again. What I did is to shoot down the 2 front balls first. Then dodge those attacks while moving to the side to have a clear view of the 3rd ball. And then we have to do this for the 2nd time and repeat the process.
@@MarcM143 Turn on the lock on feature in the settings. They fixed the whip-lash motion that made me turn it off earlier. It was a game-changer in this fight. Good luck.
On the blink portion I learned to dodge the first one then blink on the second attempt. What I found that helped a lot was to add all the damage reduction items you can. I had a total of 5 including suit. When I got hit I’d often survive and just heal back to full health.
Urgh, thank you for this! I forgot about the gun trick as soon as i started fighting but i remembered everything else! That, and turning on lock-on feature was a god-send. I forgot that i turned that off cause of whip-lash pre-update.

I didn't try and destroy them since I thought the game was using them like it did the indestructible turrets it throws at you.. I literally had this boss down to 1 inch of hp and then it did the black wave and instakilled me.. as you can probably imagine, I was so pissed off. I wish the game wouldn't be all wishy-washy with the turrets and then I would have known I could destroy them. I shot the turrets so many times and only some are actually not invincible.. very frustrating.

Just like every game since controllers went wireless, sometimes buttons just flat out dont work. Getting tired of it. Couldnt even guess how many times counter fails after perfect parry, how many times square+triangle doesnt go through, etc etc...

Got her on my second try. I would prefer the developer implement quality mechanics in these boss fights rather than one shot mechanics. They do such a good job providing multiple enemy types and they definitely have the skills to produce quality fights. Implementing these one shot mechanics like the lasers and this boss fight. It's unnecessary. Things like that are gimmicky in my opinion.
I'm completely wrecking her, but then she does the insta-kill move. I kill all the glowing yellow orbs, but she does the move anyway. I'm like, okay, that's fucked, but I used a pump and continues. SHE DID IT AGAIN. Insta-killed me again after I killed all the glowy orbs. WTF?
I can't shoot the three balls before i run out of time because i'm on console and the aiming is crap. I'm constantly trying to readjust it, which means i'm always dying in the pool. And even when i do get it, it took so much ammo that i don't have enough for the second time b/c you don't get any from her. Is there some other way to get the 3 balls? I tried stinger missiles, but they don't lock on to those. It just locks on to her and does no damage at all to the 3 balls
This boss had me sweating. Such a difficulty jump. Plus side I got better at the game because of it. Shotgun helped but I had a hard time switching out of that view to the other etc.
See I love this game so much, except one thing, fromsoftware does a great job and even lies of P did the same thing here....each boss should add an obstacle to which you learn to defend as you go, lies of P and this game every boss was super easy until the final boss, and it wasn't a culmination of what you've learned it's just hard for no reason
Dumbest part of game…. You’re screwed if you’re outta $$ and keep dying over and over. No $ for SG shells and just a very difficult stupid situation to be in. I’m getting close but outta ammo to shoot the light balls
hello, just to let you know that there is a cheese mode for this one. you can sprint all around the place and you will be able to avoid all of the attacks waiting for tachy mode to be reloaded. Then you attack withe tacky only. The fight will be 30-40min long but you almost never get hit. There is just the double drone fight that you can t avoid but other than that it is very easy. you should try!

I have a different way of doing it, beta trance isnt worth it, you will see the next 2 fights. You need survivability 👍

Dunno man aiming at those orbs seems somewhat off in this fight possible by design for this encounter seems very stiff when moving
Yea I got wrecked pretty hard, but once i beat this boss, it actually prepares you for Raven, their attack parry timings are pretty similar

Got her on my second try. I would prefer the developer implement quality mechanics in these boss fights rather than one shot mechanics. They do such a good job providing multiple enemy types and they definitely have the skills to produce quality fights. Implementing these one shot mechanics like the lasers and this boss fight. It's unnecessary. Things like that are gimmicky in my opinion.
It really isnt hard to deal with, you have ample time to avoid it.
I'm completely wrecking her, but then she does the insta-kill move. I kill all the glowing yellow orbs, but she does the move anyway. I'm like, okay, that's fucked, but I used a pump and continues. SHE DID IT AGAIN. Insta-killed me again after I killed all the glowy orbs. WTF?

I can't shoot the three balls before i run out of time because i'm on console and the aiming is crap. I'm constantly trying to readjust it, which means i'm always dying in the pool. And even when i do get it, it took so much ammo that i don't have enough for the second time b/c you don't get any from her. Is there some other way to get the 3 balls? I tried stinger missiles, but they don't lock on to those. It just locks on to her and does no damage at all to the 3 balls

This boss had me sweating. Such a difficulty jump. Plus side I got better at the game because of it.
Shotgun helped but I had a hard time switching out of that view to the other etc.
See I love this game so much, except one thing, fromsoftware does a great job and even lies of P did the same thing here....each boss should add an obstacle to which you learn to defend as you go, lies of P and this game every boss was super easy until the final boss, and it wasn't a culmination of what you've learned it's just hard for no reason

Dumbest part of game…. You’re screwed if you’re outta $$ and keep dying over and over. No $ for SG shells and just a very difficult stupid situation to be in. I’m getting close but outta ammo to shoot the light balls

hello, just to let you know that there is a cheese mode for this one. you can sprint all around the place and you will be able to avoid all of the attacks waiting for tachy mode to be reloaded. Then you attack withe tacky only. The fight will be 30-40min long but you almost never get hit. There is just the double drone fight that you can t avoid but other than that it is very easy. you should try!
