Your Mini is the same color as my baby girl! I’m indeed inspired. I have a 2012 Clubman with the back barn doors. I’m 4’9” and am literally looking for my tape measure to see if I’ll fit without taking the seats out. I live in the U.S. so it’s a comfort to know I have options considering the outrage housing costs lately!
interesting nights camp! I'm 5ft 1" and I really don't think I could do a night in the tic tac. On a side note my dog has a blue dinosaur, it's his favourite toy! Look forward to the next claustrophobic camp🤣🤣
The length is fine it’s just the width (and head room 😂). The bed is actually 190cm like a regular bed. The blue dinosaurs must be popular in the dog community! Haha thanks!

Maybe a bit extrmee of a suggestion, but you could consider cutting a sunroof into the Tick Tack to use for easy ventilation access when youre cooking (smells) or locked in for the night. And some smaller things like some strap on the inside of door to pull shut easier. Would love to see a video of any changes youve considered after experiencing the first full night in there
Just a thought, you should butter your bread then put it in the toaster butter side out, so, the filling is on the dry side, the buttered side directly against the toaster. This way it h browns nicely/quickly less chance of cheese running everywhere too 😁
I think you're meant to put butter on the outside of the bread where it touches the toasty device. Makes it crispy. But that might be bollocks. You can also put beans in the bread and it heats them up, to make "beans in toast". Also potentially bollocks.
Yeah that’s correct. I usually do but in this pan it seems to work fine without. (Unless you burn it 😂). As it happens I bought a baked bean toastie from Costa yesterday!

You could settle there if you've got a spare 10 million for one of those houses on the peninsula that have water front and back. Excellent video. AI is scary but it's good at throwing out arbitrary commands to give you a nice day out. So it's useful for something, just until it decides the best way to avoid war and have a peaceful world is to destroy all humans. Seriously though, great vid and solid van. I've seen some people on yt get a bit lonely doing van life but I think your attitude is right for it. Keep trying new things like you have been and like you said, some sort of floating water vessel next, to have a change ⛵ 👍🏼

:) Well done :) for realising that your design has some flaws - if you can't get into bed easily and sleep comfortably then all the extra 'features', however impressive, are not going to make up for lost sleep, at least not if use your camper a lot. Your built-video shows the bed frame - in effect two subframes, same as in my Yetel. You stuck with a front bed width that allows you to drive with the bed down but limits the bed width, which, as you found out, is not overly comfortable. My solution to the narrow bed width at the front is to use a system of slats. Not only does that allow for air circulation below the mattress, it also allows for a wider sleeping area when not driving. When driving, the mattress gets folded back, the wider front slats get rolled up and put below the mattress and voila, nothing interferes with driving anymore. But even my setup has design flaws, if I were to design it again, I would design the bed the other way round, sleep with the head towards the boot and the feet towards the windscreen - you'd be surprised how easy it is to crawl directly from the drivers seat into bed, if you sleep head to rear and not head to windscreen. Well done however for an entertaining video, you certainly have the entertainer's flair. Well done again.
I've got the 15l version of that alpicool fridge. You don't have to worry about turning it off, compared to an induction hob it barely sips electricity.

Quite surprised you didnt go with a Mini countryman, its the closest you will get to the old mini traveller which was an estate car. Cuntryman has a longer rear end and its a square back rather than the normal round back end of most Mini's. Would seem like the ideal vehicle to turn into a tiny camper

I was so confused!! Haha. At the moment it will only work with some of the ecoflows. But I think they’re making a new cable that will hopefully work with any xt60 port (which most power stations have). Personally I think the delta 2 and alternator charger is a great combo for a car or small van though!
