For over $10 grand. I thought it be the best. Where bike brands get thae audacity to command such a ridiculous price, when the fact is components are made using the cheapest/inexpensive material acquired. Just fancy marketing and wording, that attracts the buyer. And at such prices, I'd expect Norco to have a 360 degree panorama of the bike, not just a lame single view, as with the lame online catalog. The toptube, feels like I'm riding a girl's bike. The suspension is mediocre. Definitely not for the long haul, and the shock placement would be better, if inverted towards the seattube. Definitely over-priced. I find the Cube one55, to be better, and less expensive, and adaptable for long xc trails.
I have a feeling you have not seen/ridden this bike…it the top suspension components from Fox (all factory stuff), it has a sloping top tube, yes for better stand over, like many bikes. Also, the Cube you mention is also a 4 bar link style suspension with the same shock placement…and it’s an E bike. The sight is not a cross country bike for sure. Anyway….
Thinking of getting that bike myself 🤟
I'd for sure consider it! I've had so many bikes over the last 5 years and this is really one of my top picks.

@@chrisrouleau514I think I'd just ignore that above comment. I'm digging my 24 alloy optic.
