Game was surprisingly competitive for the most part cuz after all, Lue coaching dah Clippers into another loss-giving Plumlee play time as if Ty owes Plumlee some minutes and keeping the young legs on dah bench. Betcha Lue changes his “coaching style” when he winds up with another team.
You pay players to play, not tons of money to take on the player and all the risks of injuries that go with it. Some sort of amnesty settlement needs to be considered in ALL sports, especially team sports. You see in injuries are exactly why the NFL tries to limit guaranteed money. An injury with a cap handicaps what they can do. Need to have base salaries and more incentives. The benefits of incentives are not only financial but to encourage these guys to take better care of themselves year round so they can play more games. I know they ALL claim they want to play more but many just are not prepared. Stars can't do it alone either. Stats are misleading if they are lazy defenders, James Harden, yet still want huge money. Best defenders in the league now are the young who understand the game and its purpose. Lebron James can't do what he use to but he darn sure still gets max money and would not accept less. Are you paying for play NOW or his legendary status and records? The NBA has evolved into "rings or bust" league. Making playoffs, winning divisions, are useless. Lose in the playoffs, usually no matter when, and it's what's wrong??? These stars have to understand that what once was in many cases isn't guaranteed each year anymore. Hard charging Jordan, Magic, Bird, Moses Malone, Kobe, they are not there anymore. Replaced by stars with fragile injury occurences, hamstrings, muscles, pulled this and that. You need to take less money and hope to get more from others to win as a team. Instead it is get your max deal and hope that younger guys can learn and pick up the slack quickly for what will fit under the cap. Trades are made to fit money and cap first and foremost rather than what is best to win a championship. Denver is so balanced and all their guys are always a threat to score. The Clippers, George is past his prime, Leonard's injuries, Harden plays one dementional, Westbrook past his prime and never was a good teammate anyway, struggles with his shot regularly. Who else is there? Playing Dallas, the Mavericks are not balanced either. Whomever wins this series loses to Denver anyway. So what's the use?
People need to stop hating on kawhi the dude plays through pain often and is one of the best in the league. Lets appreciate him while he's still playing!

Lol... Dude can't play a season. This year the NBA set a 65 game threshold and wow Kawhi played the most games regular season since his Spurs days. But once again unable to be ready when it counts. But hey he still getting paid like an MVP right? Not my money. Oh but wait what about all the Clippers fans paying their money getting let down year after year?
No one hating on him, instead they are just saying get rid of him. No need to have an injury prone player in your roster.
@I.am_Groot Had nothing to do with the rule as kawhi wasn't gunning for any awards aside from a title. Did u just miss that part? The 65 game rule is for reg season awards which he doesn't care about. They built a solid team and he wanted to make a serious attempt at building something. Obv its failing atm but it had nothing to do with the 65 game rule OBVIOUSLY.
@I.am_Groot Not sure why I'm debating i literally couldn't care less about anyone besides him... Once kawhi is done I'm no longer a fan. He's the last guy worth supporting in my opinion. Too much going on in my life to argue such things. Hope you are well friend.

I think you had too many overpaid MVP guys named Kawhi who keeps cashing them paychecks and taking playoffs off. Injuries happen but this pattern would get most people fired from their job not extended at max money. #Time4Rebuild

They won game one without him then lost the two with him, now they just won again without him, maybe they should have given PG a max offer rather than Kawhi.
