The thing no one knows yet all are waiting for is the pro version of this devices, with in-depth sampler (fancy: looppoints, slice & timestreatching), edgy wavetable synth, re-sampling through an analog section, advanced modular sequencing and editing.. you know the score .. Best regards from OpusDesign
Circuit Rhythm features line inputs that aren't designed to receive signals from instruments like guitars so you might find the resulting sample to be low in volume.
I have a question about how you route your audio. I'm running into an audio quality issue on my Circuit Rhythm, when I'm trying to run the audio of other devices in to the Rhythm. Specifically I have a Roland J-6 that I want to use in unison with the Rhythm. Where I want the audio to end in the Rhythm, to use the Grid FX and the filter. I see you only use one cable as a line-in to sample your synth. And the audio quality seems perfect. When I only use the Line-in (mono) the audio quality is really poor. I thought the issue might be that I wasn't using both L and R line-in sockets. But your video seems to disprove that. Got any idea why I'm running into the poor audio quality?

Have really enjoyed the rhythm so far... would love to see grid fx added to drum pad page to allow love resampling with custom FX (live swap ala what got added to grix fx page) and allowing resampling from playing in live
@@NovationTV Thanks for replying! I'm trying to record a melody over the beat using live sampling (like in the video around the 10:00 minute mark). However, my melody doesn't start on the "1", it would start after that. On a guitar looper for example, I could record that silence/gap before starting to play my melody. On the CR with the threshold on, it pulls my recorded melody to the "1". I hope that makes sense. It's my first week with the CR so I hope i'm not asking something silly. Thank you!
Thanks for elaborating! This is certainly possible. With Recording Threshold on, recording will not start until the signal level exceeds a preset level. If you're hoping to place the start of the sample on the off beat, you should find that you can do that when sequencing your sample, by not placing it on the 1. Alternatively, you can switch Recording Threshold off and record the silence before the melody, sequencing the sample from Step 1. Another option is to record the melody and then use Slice Mode to chop the samples into slices that you can sequence on the steps of your choice.
@@NovationTV I've been trying your suggestions for a while and found the first method (along with recording with quantization off for a more natural feel) to work the best for me! I definitely need more practice however... Thank you! I really appreciate you taking the time to reply!

Great video
Beautiful. If you wanted to, could you plug in that bass back there to the Circuit Rhythm and record a bass loop?

But in theory you could?
Thanks for the movie.

I love my new Circuit Rhythm
Afraid we don't fully understand. What are you hoping to do exactly?
