My grandfather died in WW2 and left 3 children with barely a memory of their father. His 48 star coffin flag has been passed down to me out of 10 grandchildren and his army hat with the blood on it. I am honored to be the one chosen to keep it to pass on to my daughter who I named after him. If he saw the country today he would have stayed home with his family, I'd rather have known him.

What exactly does it state? That only US citizens can vote in ANY election in the US? What about legal residents (permanent visas, green cards etc.)? The Constitution may be a bit dated and not specific enough on this issue, hence the need for new federal legislation. Does this new proposed Bill prevent legal residents from voting in elections, including local elections? If you're in the US legally, and paying taxes, then you should be able to vote. Illegals - absolutely not.
