I’m an Aussie with a huge British heritage and we are descended from the Plantagenets who ruled England for 400 yrs. I absolutely love watching these guards, the tradition, the dignity. What I hate is disrespectful people, mainly tourists, who make fools of themselves with their juvenile behaviour. I would love to speak to one of these guards, (not on duty) and find out what it’s really like and why they chose to follow this wonderful tradition. I have the greatest respect for them all.
Hello from Upper-Austria! For all video-watchers, who could not see the "heartwarming moment": it was the "slowed down pace", to not "overrun" the older lady! Uaual, the Guards do not stop or slow down, they are shouting: "make way for the Kings Guard"!
Ball sheet. At no time did I get a heart warming moment from that suggested interaction. They only do the 'Make way' announcements when they are engaged in their guarding activities whilst ON DUTY, not walking generally around from A to B.
The heart warming moment was when they slowed their pace so as not to kick the old woman's walking sticks away. Guards are supposed to just keep marching regardless.
Yeah, usually they scream, "Make way for the king's guard and scare the bejeesus out of people. I noticed these two guys went around people. Maybe because it wasn't within the actual court yard. i do love watching them though.
Das ist doch nicht herzerwärmend. Das ist völlig normaler Respekt gegenüber älteren Menschen, tagtäglich an vielen Orten zu beobachten. Was für eine typisch übertriebene Headline nur um Clicks zu generieren. Pfui!
It's a wonderful experience to be able to see the culture and true life in any place we are lucky enough to visit. It also important to include the smaller events, such as this one. These guards weren't doing more than walking. This example shows how including the 'less exciting ' parts of a visit enriches us. I was warmed that someone took this very simple example of British culture and then noticed the respect they had for the elder. And that this video was shared. Anywhere you go, even to somewhere close by, watch for moments you might not ordinarily have noticed. Your life will be enriched. Tactfully make as much use of your cell phone's ability to save memories for you.
Embers of my family have been on duty as Kings guards. Underneath these fabulous red uniforms are great guys. Meticulous preparation down to the last button.
Well we all know that the guards are humans and can also do nice things, and not walking over people but just giving a chance to walk away is normal. But they are just nice guards and there more of them ❤❤❤❤

I'm still waiting for a heart warming moment.
I watched it twice and I still couldn't find it
I hate xpclick bait. Cheers Rosemary Western Australia 73yrs
Well, I don't believe that moment is there - so, not really a false claim in the title.
I learned to settle with low expectations, though...
Maybe the 20 second chat when the soldier opened the gate for them lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Me too, I thought they would help her up the sidewalk, it's bull pooky

That moment they weren't on duty and not marching. They were just showing courtesy whilst in uniform.
They slowed their pace behind the lady with the cane, so they would not stress her out coming up quickly behind her.
WELL DONE !!!!!!

Awesome group soldiers may God bless you and your families ❤
They look superb as usual, our troops 😊😘
My heart is still as stone-cold as when i started watching this. What have I missed?
Whatever you missed, I missed too.
What was the heart warming moment?
I'm a little confused too
The guards slowing down for the lady in front of them who was using walking sticks
They slowed their pace behind the elderly lady.
With the current climate of troops getting stabbed, they need to think about issuing side arms.
Nothing like a gentle morning stroll in London to deliver the daily bugler!
Our boys 👏
When they went thru the gate, neither went first, both thru together. A heart warming moment. 😅
The Coldstream guards 💂🇬🇧

It was so heart warming that they didn’t yell come on grandma get a shift on, we’ve got tiffin to get to.
Kool💂🏼♀️
I must of blinked!

Why does the bugler keep looking down at the ground? Is he unsure of where he steps or is it the bearskin hat weighs too much for him?
Well we all know that the guards are humans and can also do nice things, and not walking over people but just giving a chance to walk away is normal. But they are just nice guards and there more of them ❤❤❤❤
Nothing ever happened....why was walking a heart warming moment??
Look at it again and watch the elderly lady
What heart warming moment was that then? Did I blink and miss it?
02:50
Yes but can they fight yet?
I totally love my British cousins across the pond, especially during the holidays. Im glad you don't wear that stunning red in the bush anymore. 😅
What was the heartwarming moment? How did you know the guards would be their?
You get a thumbs down for liying.
See, they can be nice😊
4 minutes I'll never get back....
He should use his horn to make people get out of the way.
They are not on parade, therefore no rights. They are just ordinary people welling around.

Nice job from the camera man.
Looked like a leisurely stroll - not exactly marching / stepping out were they?
Me too . Where are they going so far ?
In step.
is this a daily event, to and from St James's Palace ?
What was the more decorative uniform?
Corps of drums
@@Tom-bs1em Thank you
They walked against red light! 😲
Can't see it. But it must have been something.
Going out for a beer!
Some people are so rude
Sò fking wot 😂😂😂😂
O, walking is a Heart Warming moment. You have got to be f*cking kidding me.
What is all over the one guards uniform?
I couldn’t be a bugler, fancy having that bugle hit your right buttock with every step?
Not to mention that I can’t play the bugle..
😄
What was the rank , was he a WO ?
The soldier with the pace stick is a WO....
@@edgaraquino2324 Yes, a Company Sgt-Major.
What is heartwarming about this?
What a BLOODY waste of time!!!
No, they crop dusted the old lady with crutches.
Where was the heart warming moment. All I seen was 2 guards walking. Not a heart warming moment!!!!
I’m sorry but those hats…ha ha
TWO guys walking... no 'heartwarming' moment...
Oh, they are allowing to jaywalking?
Yet another heart warming moment where nothing happened. This poxy channel is always posting misleading videos🤬
